Adrienne Maloof is a former main cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Casting[]

Maloof made up one of the original main cast members in the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She starred as a 'Housewife' until the conclusion of the third season; when she decided to skip the 'Reunion Special' after her co-star, Brandi Glanville, revealed a huge family secret (that she had her twin sons carried through surrogacy).

Skipping the 'Reunion Special' is usually considered a fireable offense within the franchise but Maloof had already chosen to walk away from the show before taping the special since she had discovered what Glanville had said during filming without her consent for her former co-star to speak about the sensitive subject on-camera. Glanville spilling Maloof’s secret was removed and edited out of the season; in respect for Maloof and her family, however.

Since her exit, she has made 'Guest Appearances' in the show’s fifth, sixth, eighth and tenth seasons.

Season 1[]

Marriage To Husband[]

Adrienne introduces viewers to her lavish lifestyle which comes from her work in her diverse family company which owns a lot of notable business and places - like The Palms Casino in Vegas. Hosting many events for the 'Housewives' (largely in Vegas) isn’t the only thing that she is good at though. Dr. Paul Nassif, her plastic surgeon Husband, is a very devoted and adoring life partner yet they have very similar personalities which leads them to butt heads quite often. Paul’s jovial nature doesn’t go unnoticed and it has the tendency to wind Adrienne up. An example of this is amplified when Paul turns Adrienne’s idea of hosting a girls weekend in Las Vegas to watch Jay Z live in concert, into a couples weekend getaway. After Adrienne’s plan is flipped on its head, the smallest thing has the ability to wind Adrienne up (including squeaky shoes!).

When Adrienne goes through grief after she loses her Uncle, she gets irritated by Paul who decides to go out with the other 'HouseHusbands', the night before the tribute day that the family have for her late Uncle; as opposed to joining his Wife to spend time, console and connect with his Mother-In-Law. Adrienne voices her disappointment to him which Paul does retort by saying that Adrienne didn’t let on that the night before her Uncle’s tribute was a family and formal occasion and questions how much he really has to hold Adrienne’s hand through this yet he does end up letting Adrienne have the last word and apologizes for hurting Adrienne’s feelings (manages to give her a side-kiss and a hug). In the morning of the tribute day, Adrienne does find Paul annoying for his slowness and his lack of awareness about the importance of this day and therefore to be prompt. However, Adrienne puts this down to healthy bickering in a eight-year marriage, meanwhile, Paul puts this down to their dynamic (since they’ve done since the day that they first met).

Parenting Style[]

Not only is Adrienne busy running multi-million dollar businesses but she is also a very dedicated mother. She used to enjoy the single and free life but her whole life changed when she became a mother to Gavin (aged six) and twins, Christian (aged four) and Colin (aged four). While the boys are happy children, they’re very full on; which highlights the differing parenting styles that Adrienne and Husband, Paul, have adopted. While Adrienne is more relaxed and gives in more to her kids, Paul is a lot more "no-nonsense" and isn’t so patient with his Kids (which Adrienne understands considering he usually works long days and isn’t often able to catch a solid break from chaos!). Since Adrienne believes that being a mother is the hardest job in the world, she isn’t afraid to admit that she does have help at home (a chef; since she can’t cook for her life, a part-time housekeeper and also a nanny).

Death Of Her Uncle[]

Adrienne receives some bad news during filming for this season: the sudden death of her Mom’s Brother (her Uncle). When receiving this news, on-camera, she is visibly quite shocked and shaken but endeavors to remain stoic and all that’s on her mind is how her Mom is feeling. Kim Richards is with Adrienne when she receives a phone call which delivers the sad news and Kim identifies that she can see the pain that Adrienne is feeling and this shows how close she was to the relative and how much of a family girl that she really is. She ends up missing the trip that the remaining 'Housewives' take to New York City to watch the premiere night of Kelsey Grammer’s new Broadway show to stay and console her crushed Mother. During this time, the family also attend a tribute to her late Uncle.

Season 1 (RHOBH)[]

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, Adrienne and Kim are not aware of each other and only officially meet when Kim’s Sister and Adrienne’s friend, Kyle Richards, invites Kim out on Adrienne’s day trip for some of her girlfriends to Las Vegas.

In Plenty of Baggage, not much on-screen interaction is present between Adrienne and Kim. However, Adrienne does invite Kim, along with all of the other 'Housewives', for their second trip to Las Vegas to see Jay Z live in concert.

Adrienne & Kim Go Shopping For Their Upcoming NYC Trip

In I Would Never Say That, Adrienne and Kim go shopping ahead of their upcoming visit to New York City to see Camille Grammer’s Husband, Kelsey, on stage. They both admit that they’re sick of wearing the colour black (which Adrienne feels that she always wear when in New York!). They discuss about how they’re both last-minute packers. Kim remarks on how she is the opposite to her Sister, Kyle, who has a load of good friends. She is very selective with the people that she considers a friend. She warms to Adrienne considering she finds her to be very much a family woman, which Kim identifies with, so feels that they’re building a strong friendship. As they’re getting into the outfit shopping, Adrienne receives a sad phone call which is from her Brother that informs her that her Mother’s Brother (Adrienne’s Uncle) has just suddenly passed away. Kim sees that Adrienne is in a lot of pain due to this news which Adrienne puts down to the worry that she has for her Mother; who will be devastated. Kim warmly embraces Adrienne who has to get back home quickly and abandon the clothing shopping.

Lisa Vanderpump[]

Friend[]

Season 1 (RHOBH)[]

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, Lisa and Adrienne are shown to live directly opposite each other (and have done for five years by this point). They seem to be good friends; with Lisa jokingly pointing out how being a friend of Adrienne’s has major perks (like getting invited out on a private jet).

In Plenty of Baggage, Adrienne invites Lisa, alongside all of the other 'Housewives', once again to Las Vegas in order to have a couples getaway and to watch a Jay Z concert. Lisa gushes once again about going to Las Vegas with Adrienne who owns a lot of it and is such a VIP.

In The Art of War, after all of the 'Housewives' have come back from their trip to New York City (without Adrienne due to her Uncle’s passing), Lisa invites Adrienne over to her house (a stone’s throw away from hers) for some tea to fill her in on the drama of the trip and catch up with how she is. Lisa warmly greets Adrienne and extends her condolences to her while acknowledging how grief is tough to cope with and overwhelming with the amount of attention you received so explains that she decided to wait for Adrienne to ring her. Adrienne is filled in on the New York drama and agrees with Lisa that all those with drama should sit down and hash out their issues for the peace of the social circle.

Kyle Richards[]

Friend[]

Season 1 (RHOBH)[]

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, how well Adrienne and Kyle know each other is unclear except from the fact that Adrienne considers Kyle one of her girlfriends and admits that she doesn’t have many of these since she has to be selective of her friends as wealthy people can sometimes be chased because of their money and friendships, therefore, have to be strongly considered. Kyle is obviously invited out to Las Vegas on Adrienne’s private jet with the other four 'Housewives'.

Adrienne Admiring Kyle Dancing

In Plenty of Baggage, Kyle is invited, alongside all of the other 'Housewives', once again to Las Vegas, by Adrienne to watch Jay Z perform.

In It’s My Party and I’ll Spend If I Want To, Kyle says that she invited Adrienne to her Daughter, Portia’s, second birthday party but she turned down the invite (in friendly terms) since she had already agreed to go to Taylor Armstrong’s Daughter, Kennedy’s, fourth birthday party.

Cosmetic Surgery For Taylor From Adrienne’s Husband, Dr. Paul Nassif

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, it is clear that Adrienne and Taylor are very good friends. Adrienne is Godmother to Taylor’s Daughter, Kennedy, and their friendship is explained to have developed at the school gates, three years ago.

In Plenty of Baggage, Adrienne whisks Taylor, alongside the other 'Housewives', away to Las Vegas - this time, to watch Jay Z perform in concert and for a relaxed couples' getaway. While in Las Vegas, Taylor does admit how much she loves her friendship with Adrienne as it always comes with perks (with a smirk!) and also seems to be comforted and supported by Adrienne when her Husband decides to squeeze in a work commitment in Phoenix while they’re holidaying.

Snapped At Taylor’s Daughter’s Birthday Party

In It’s My Party and I’ll Spend If I Want To, Adrienne attends Taylor’s Daughter, Kennedy’s, fourth birthday party. While Adrienne thinks that the type of party that Taylor has thrown for Kennedy is usually a party that is more geared towards the adults rather than the kids and she feels that the type of party is foolish to be pulling of every year for a child, she compliments Taylor’s fabulous hostess skills which she thinks is always commendable.

In I Would Never Say That, after Adrienne receives some bad news about a family member, she pulls out of joining the other 'Housewives' on their trip to New York City. Taylor admits that she feels sorry for Adrienne and is going to miss her on the trip. During their first night in New York, she texts Adrienne to tell her that all of the girls are thinking of her and check up on how she is doing.

In The Art of War, Taylor, while in New York with the other 'Housewives', checks into see how Adrienne is doing in Beverly Hills (on the day of her Uncle’s tribute day). After not reaching Adrienne, she leaves her a voicemail and says how much she misses her on this trip. Taylor also describes Adrienne as a diffuser of arguments and she would’ve probably been able to have done this between all of the conflict that occurred between the majority of the 'Housewives' on the New York trip.

On Board The Private Jet

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, Adrienne includes Camille in her circle of friends as they were good friends when Camille was Adrienne’s neighbor when she lived in Beverly Hills.

In Plenty of Baggage, Camille is invited by Adrienne, once again, to Las Vegas, in order to see Jay Z perform in concert. Camille is really pleased that Adrienne is including her within this new friendship group; Adrienne admits that she feels obligated to include her friend in this group since she gets the impression that Camille is lonely without the company of her Husband, Kelsey.

In I Would Never Say That, Camille is concerned for Adrienne when she finds out that Adrienne’s Uncle has just passed. Adrienne phones Camille to confirm that she is no longer attending the New York City trip that Camille had planned for the 'Housewives' in light of the recent tragedy. Adrienne conveys her sadness and sorrow not to be joining the others on the trip which Camille returns as she is going to miss Adrienne and feels sorry for her loss.
