Alex McCord is a former main cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Casting[]
McCord made up one of the five original main cast members in the first season of The Real Housewives of New York City. She starred as a 'Housewife' until the conclusion of the fourth season as she was “let go” by the network, Bravo. McCord spoke negatively of her former co-stars and of the show describing it as toxic and questioning in an interview on Good Morning America, "if people behave in a way that is shocking, then how can it do anything but get darker?".
Despite this, McCord is set to star in the fifth season of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip as an "All Star". Holidaying in Morocco and the second edition of the "Ex-Wives Club", McCord is said to have joined seven other former 'Housewives' from four other American installments of The Real Housewives franchise.
