Athena X Levendi

Athena X Levendi is a former main cast member on The Real Housewives of Sydney.

Biography[]

According to Arenatv.com.au, "Spiritual, eccentric and attractive; Athena is a painter, sculptor and jewellery designer. Australian born, she grew up in Athens only to return to Australia at the age of 20.

She is married to an Australian Greek jewellery designer, Panos, who owns and runs Levendi Jewellers. Together they raise three children in their beautiful Bellevue Hill home – teenage son Alexander, 16, and their younger children Pavlos, 12 and Myrella, 9 years-old.

When she is not holding solo exhibitions showcasing her paintings and sculptures, she can be found adding her creative input at Levendi Jewellers working alongside her brother-in-law Mike Levendi, as one of the designers.

Around three years ago Athena had a spiritual awakening after her mother passed away. As a result, she lives her life purely in the ‘now’ and will not look back or too far forward. She says she isn’t very sentimental as a result, and doesn’t keep too many photos or memories around her and her family home."^[1]

Krissy Marsh Feud[]

In Jatz Crackers, Athena X and Krissy formally met at Nicole O'Neil's welcome back party. Their personalities clashed as some of Krissy's jokes rubbed Athena X in the wrong way. Athena X also clashed with Victoria, who is close friends with Krissy.

In Branch of Olive, Athena X again clashed with Krissy at Victoria's white themed lunch. Although not directly as Matty who argued with Athena X the most.

Nicole, Krissy, and Matty arrive at Athena X's art exhibition in For Art's Sake. Matty reveals that Melissa is not coming and tells Athena X what Melissa feels. Athena X calls Melissa unintelligent by saying she's the "pot plant in the room" and her art is "too advanced for her". Krissy, Nicole, and Matty stand up for Melissa. Athena X accused Melissa as an artist that doesn't support other artists. As the argument continues, Nicole brings up again if Athena X knows Melissa's kids's names, which escalates the argument into Athena X screaming at the ladies. Krissy and Matty try to calm Athena X down and Athena X storms off. Krissy goes after Athena X and tries to explain that calling Melissa a pot plant is not nice. The conversation devolves into another argument. Athena X calls Melissa a bimbo in a run on soliloquy, Krissy leaves.

Athena X confides with Krissy in Singapore Slings as Krissy and Victoria are close, and Athena X wishes to find out how to approach Victoria without devolving into an argument. Krissy thinks Athena X is misunderstood and just desperately wants to be liked but go about it in the wrong way. Krissy offers Athena X advice on using the trip as a clean slate, relax and have fun. Athena X appreciates Krissy's receptiveness.

Krissy has a change of heart about Athena X and enjoys her company in Hotel Ruffles. Melissa is incredulous of Athena X and Krissy's newfound friendship, Victoria doesn't think it will last. Krissy and Athena X act like best friends to Lisa's displeasure.

Krissy thinks Athena X is letting loose and is glad for her in Anti Aging, but she is surprised to see Athena X and Lisa on good terms after their dramatic fallout in Singapore.

The ladies gossip that Christa Billich's in an open relationship in Fur Wedding, and her partner paints women that he has special encounters with. Krissy mentions Matty has been painted by Christa's partner. Later on Athena X and Lisa bring up Matty as a subject of Christa's partner's paintings on their way to Christa's dog and cat wedding. They insinuate Krissy mentioned it in a malicious manner, Matty clarifies that it was a gift she commissioned for her partner. Athena X brings up Krissy mentioning Matty's painting. Matty gets mad at Athena X and Lisa for instigating and blowing things out of proportion. Krissy is confused by Athena's attempt to stir up drama. Athena X attacks Krissy after rejoining the group with Lisa, Matty is infuriated that they are arguing about her again. Athena X and Krissy continue to argue, Athena X tosses a glitter bomb (she brought herself) on Krissy and storms off.

Victoria Rees Feud[]

In Jatz Crackers, her animosity with Victoria formally began at Nicole's welcome back party, however, Victoria had called Athena X a "Jatz Cracker". Which was relayed to Athena X via Nicole. Victoria tossed the fish net cape Athena X was wearing overboard at the party.

In Branch of Olive, Victoria apologized to Athena and invited her to her white themed lunch. Victoria was irritated when Athena X tossed the g string that is included in the goody bag to Krissy. Athena X gifted a literal olive branch to Victoria.

Victoria uninvites Lisa and Athena X to her charity event in Thermo Mixing. However, Athena X had donated jewelry for auction at the event. Mike Levendi, Athena X's brother in law delivers the jewelry and Victoria explains she cannot have Athena X's unruly behavior at her charity event. Mike defends Athena X, although cordial the situation turns awkward. Athena X calls Lisa at her work and they talk about Victoria's un-invitation. Athena X is livid and thinks it is in poor taste for Victoria to launch a new product at a charity event, Lisa agrees. Athena X attacks Victoria, Lisa states she is protective over Athena X and is plotting revenge. A party crasher attended Victoria's charity event and the ladies suspect Athena X and Lisa sent her. In the same episode, Victoria questions the validity of Athena X's past revealed in Persian Party.

In Singapore Slings, Athena X was shocked by the treatment of the jewelry she donated for a good cause after Lisa relayed to her what transpired at Victoria's charity event. Athena is not looking forward to seeing Victoria on the Singapore trip due to the tension from the charity event. In Singapore, Athena X tells Victoria she feels misunderstood by her. Argument ensued and Athena X brings up the charity event jewelry situation. Victoria explains to Athena X she's wary of Athena X's explosive behavior possibly occurring at the charity event. Victoria brings up Lizzie Buttrose and citing the charity event not meeting its goal due to her behavior. Athena X clarifies she does not know Lizzie, Krissy defends Athena X as Lizzie is Lisa's friend. Victoria firmly believes Lizzie is sent by both Athena X and Lisa, which Athena X vehemently objects. Athena X brings up Joh Bailey's rude comment about Levendi jewelry. Victoria tells Athena X that they are not and will never be friends, but acquaintances. Argument escalates as Athena X begins insulting Victoria and Victoria says Athena X doesn't work. Athena X accuses Victoria on looking for a sugar daddy. Victoria throws a napkin in Athena X's face and Athena X tosses two drinks at Victoria. Victoria throws a drink back and storms off. Nicole states she's embarrassed of the behavior and leaves. Athena X continues her rant, gets more work up and attempts to leave. All the ladies are angry and leave.

Victoria regrets her behavior last night, but also blames her behavior on Athena X. Victoria apologizes to some of the things she said to Athena X in Hotel Ruffles. Later on, Victoria brings her half sister Lucy out to drink with the ladies. However, Athena X and Lisa start arguing, while Victoria begs Athena X to not do it in front of her sister. Victoria is embarrassed of Lisa and Athena X's behavior in front of Lucy, and she has had enough of Athena X.

Athena X and Lisa talk about Singapore in Anti Aging and are putting it behind them, however, they think the problem with the group is Victoria. Krissy mentions she spoke with Victoria and Victoria is not aware that skipping the dinner was offensive to the ladies. Lisa and Athena X brings up Victoria's absence at Krissy's charity event as well, Krissy defends Victoria. Athena X brings up the idea of intervention but Krissy doesn't think that is necessary. Later on Lisa and Athena X confront Victoria, Lisa states Krissy wanted to stage an intervention, Krissy denies. Krissy technically did not utter the word "intervention" but she did insinuate the idea in Singapore. Krissy and Lisa argue. Victoria does not believe Krissy would say that and she leaves to get tacos. Athena X thinks Victoria is not mature enough to handle the conversation, Melissa doesn't get why Athena X is obsessed with Victoria.

Melissa and Victoria have drinks in Fur Wedding. Victoria inquires Melissa on what happened after she left for tacos at Nicole's Food Truck event. Melissa thinks Athena X thrives on confrontations and that is preventing Victoria from getting to know Lisa. Victoria thinks the best strategy for now is to not engage. Later on Athena X attacks Victoria for arriving late at the dog and cat wedding, they argue briefly before Victoria leaves.

In Reunion, Unaired footage of an producer and the ladies holding Athena X back from going toward Victoria aggressively in Fur Wedding is shown. Athena X thinks she's bullied when Nicole pointed out Athena X had a problem with every single lady in the room. Athena X calls Nicole "Australia's greatest liar". Victoria explains calling Athena X jatz crackers is humorous while Athena X called her a "fat little girl" the first time they met in Jatz Crackers. Everyone tries to explain to Athena X that the comment is rude. Athena X and Victoria argue. Alex steps in and questions if Athena X is unable to take responsibilities of her actions. A viewer question regarding Athena X's spirituality is delivered, Athena X states she intends to be a mirror to show the ladies their judgmental nature. Matty points out perhaps the ladies are the mirror showing Athena X who she is. Athena X denies and continue to argue with Victoria. Victoria prompts Athena X to recall a nasty comment toward her by Victoria. Athena X paused before accusing Victoria for using words with malicious intents. Melissa steps in for a brief moment before Athena X accuses Victoria for campaigning against her.

Joh Bailey's comments about Levendi diamond at Victoria's charity is discussed. Victoria defended herself by stating she told Joh to stop but it was not aired. Athena X keeps cutting Victoria off. Alex berates the ladies for not letting each other finish speaking. Victoria storms off as Athena X does not let Victoria get a word out. Victoria returns, Athena X immediately start commenting on Victoria, attacking her in Greek.

Matty Samaei Feud[]

At Victoria Rees's white themed lunch in Branch of Olive, as Matty was trying to diffuse an argument and brought up Athena X's spirituality, then Athena X attacked Matty's appearance and her medical spa business. Leading to Matty storming off from the lunch.

In Greek Goddess, Athena X hosts her Greek birthday celebration. Matty did not attend Athena X's birthday event, Athena X stated she reached out to Matty but did not hear back. Krissy and Melissa call Matty but Matty contradicted Athena X's claim of an apology call attempt, receiving just text messages. Athena X ask Krissy and Melissa what Matty had said, the ladies try to explain to Athena X that she did not actually apologize to Matty while Athena X stands her ground.

Athena X apologizes to Matty about her behavior at Persian Party in Thermo Mixing. Matty accepts her apology.

Athena X thinks people who seek beauty enhancements medically are insecure in Reunion. Nicole points out Athena X has had botox and nose jobs. Athena X clarifies her nose jobs were for medical reasons. Melissa explains that it is hypocritical, Athena X does not get it. Matty revealed that she had gone out with Athena X for drinks and they are currently amicable. However, Athena X seems unsatisfied with Matty's explanation, Matty apologizes and diffuses the situation.

Nicole O'Neil Feud[]

In All At Sea, Nicole attempts to gently nudge Athena X to get to know the ladies more. When prompted the names of Nicole's children, Athena X was unable to answer. Athena X remains defensive at Nicole's advice. Nicole invites Athena X to join her charity committee to raise funds for the Kew Cancer Foundation to leverage her connections. Athena X accepts, however, expresses dislike in the way Nicole went about it. Later at dinner, Nicole questions it as Athena X is wearing an ivory bracelet as Athena X is vegan.

In Persian Party, Nicole meets Athena X for a drink to discuss Nicole's invitation to her charity. Athena X confronts Nicole about the argument at the art exhibition. Nicole tries to explain to Athena X her comments toward Melissa were insulting, Athena proceeds to attack Nicole relentlessly, argument ensued. The charity invitation dissolved, Nicole stated Athena X did not attend a charity meeting prior, and Athena X accused of Nicole's using her for her connections. Nicole stated in confessional that she is more connected in Athena X, although in All At Sea, Nicole said she's inviting Athena X to the charity to leverage her connections. Nicole leaves.

Later at Matty's dinner, Nicole is still upset with Athena X but plans to remain cordial for Matty. Argument begins between Athena X and Nicole as Athena X ate caviar from the communal spoon and began lecturing the ladies on having seconds on caviar. Argument ceased as food are brought out. Matty ask Krissy and Victoria about their trip to Melbourne, Victoria does not want to talk about it at the moment. Athena X states she feels left out, Victoria thinks Athena X is playing victim in her confessional. Athena X tries to talk to Melissa, Melissa tells Athena she knows what she had called her at the art exhibition. Krissy jumps in and rehashes Athena X's behavior at the art exhibition. Matty tries to interfere but Nicole and Krissy continue their argument with Athena X. Nicole and Athena X start arguing about their ring sizes, which brings in an comedic atmosphere to the group. Lisa apologizes to Krissy and Krissy accepts. Athena X started the argument again, Krissy shoves the napkins into her mouth and Athena X becomes more offended. Melissa tries to explain to Athena X she comes off as unpleasant and mean, Athena X digs her heels in and attacks Victoria's appearance. Screaming match ensues. Athena X breaks down, talks about her traumatic childhood of constantly visiting her father in the hospital after an accident, then being abused by her father. The ladies sympathize with Athena X and Krissy shares Victoria's father's story. Athena X leaves the table and breaks down in the restroom with Lisa calming her down. Lisa thinks Krissy is stealing Athena X's spotlight by sharing Victoria's story.

In Singapore Slings, Athena X gifts Nicole a peace offering book with an apology written inside, Nicole accepts and they make up.

Athena X goes to her hypnosis healer to explore her past lives in Fur Wedding. She relived her past life as an 18th century man who had his wife stolen by his best friend. She came to the conclusion that the best friend had reincarnated into Nicole. Athena X thinks Nicole betrayed her the same way in her previous lives.

In Reunion, Nicole gets a copy of Women's Weekly which showcases an article named "Nicole is out to get me", where Athena X attacks all the ladies.

Melissa Tkautz Feud[]

In All At Sea, Melissa apologizes to Athena X as she thinks she should have defended Athena X regarding the ivory at the dinner prior. Melissa expresses her insecurities regarding her weight to Athena X, Athena X told Melissa that Victoria said Melissa looks anorexic. Athena X offers Melissa advice about stop caring what other people think. Later at dinner, Melissa confronts Victoria about what Athena X had told her about the anorexic comment. Victoria denies, Melissa is now skeptical of Athena X's accusation. Athena X's surprised that Melissa believes Victoria.

In For Art's Sake, Athena X tries to confront Melissa about Melissa asking Victoria if she called her anorexic at dinner the previous night. Melissa refuses to engage. Athena X thinks Victoria is sly but Melissa disagrees, and she thinks Athena X is trying to stir up drama. They begin arguing and Melissa storms off, Melissa feels it was a mistake to open to Athena X in the previous episode regarding her insecurities. Matty checks in on Melissa. Melissa feels Athena X weaponized her insecurity as Athena repeatedly told her to "love herself" after Melissa told her about her having low self confidence. Melissa states Athena X has very few allies in the friend group and she just lost another one. Later at Athena X's art exhibition, with Melissa not in attendance, Athena X calls Melissa unintelligent by saying she's the "pot plant in the room" and her art is "too advanced for her". Krissy, Nicole, and Matty stand up for Melissa. Athena X accused Melissa as an artist that doesn't support other artists.

Athena X and Melissa make up in Thermo Mixing when visiting Lisa along with Matty.

In Reunion, Athena X calling Melissa a "pot plant" in For Art's Sake, is revisited. Melissa states she had told Athena X prior that she could not make it and already apologized. Athena X apologizes to Melissa and thinks she was hurt that Melissa, as an artist was not supporting another artist. Their conversation on the boat in the Whitsundays in All At Sea is brought up. Melissa says the "love yourself" comments hurt her and Athena X explained it comes from good intentions. They argue, Athena X yells at Melissa and tells her to "be the pot plant". Athena X then calls Victoria, Nicole, and Krissy "animals" who went into her art exhibit screaming at her. They all start arguing. Athena X uses being hurt as an excuse for her behavior. Alex circles back to Melissa, who states she does not like confrontations, therefore she was quiet throughout the season, which Alex appreciates.

Lisa Oldfield[]

Athena X treats Lisa to a private shopping experience for a pampering time due to the difficult runt Lisa is going through in Persian Party.

A rift grows between Athena X and Lisa in Hotel Ruffles as Athena X denies telling Lisa about Krissy questioning Lisa's marital issues, argument ensued. Lisa thinks Athena X has been feeding her lies about Krissy. Later on when the ladies were having drinks, Athena X starts attacking Lisa, while Victoria begs Athena X to not do it in front of her sister. Lucy goes to the restroom during the argument. The argument escalates, Melissa is roped into the argument. Lisa storms off with Melissa and Victoria in tow. Matty and Athena X break off and Matty tries to calm Athena X down. Victoria apologizes to Lucy. Lisa joins Matty and Athena X, Athena X admits Krissy did question Victoria's marital problems. At their final dinner in Singapore, Lisa is not happy with Athena X and Krissy's friendship. Athena X and Lisa begin arguing again and get heated. Athena X hugs Lisa and they make up suddenly. However, Lisa states she's still hurt in the confessional.

Athena X and Lisa talk about Singapore and decide to put it behind them in Anti Aging.
