Aviva Drescher is a former main cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Casting[]
Drescher started starring on The Real Housewives of New York City during its fifth season but only remained as a 'Housewife' until the conclusion of the sixth season. During her final edition in a main role, Drescher didn’t attend the cast trips which led to her removal from the season’s intro during episodes that were based outside of New York. After the conclusion of the sixth season, Drescher was announced to have been fired from the show and the speculated reason for her exit is down to producers allegedly finding her an “extremely difficult cast member and employee”. She has not returned to the franchise since.

- She is edited out of the Season 6 intro (during the cast trip episodes) since she misses them both.
- While the rest of the cast are in The Berkshires, Drescher is absent in the ninth, tenth and eleventh episodes. Then again in the sixteenth and seventeenth episodes.
