Caroline Manzo is a former main cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She also appeared in her own spin-off series, Manzo’d With Children, and starred as an "All Star" in the fifth season of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
Casting[]
Manzo made up one of the original five main cast members on the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She starred as a ‘Housewife’ until the conclusion of the fifth season. She left the series because she felt the show was becoming “too toxic” and changing the dynamics in her household and her entire world too. Manzo also claimed that she would return to the show if she was offered a huge amount of money which was trialed in the tenth season of the show when network, Bravo, allegedly offered Manzo to return as a ‘Friend of the Housewives’ (a recurring role) which she turned down and labelled “insulting” since she built up the show to the success that it is today.
After she left the main show, Manzo was offered a spin-off series, titled: Manzo’d With Children, which followed the lives of Manzo, her Husband and her three children. The show ended after a three season run.
Manzo also appeared in the second edition of the "Ex-Wives Club" (bringing together eight former ‘Housewives’ from across The Real Housewives franchise; five different American installments. This was the fifth season of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip which hasn’t aired involving an incident between Manzo and former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi Glanville. Lawsuits have been filed against the network by both parties involved and it is unclear whether the season will now air or not. This promoted Manzo to confirm she is “done” with the franchise permanently.
