In “Sand Dunes and Don’ts” Caroline has known Nina since she arrived in Dubai. Nina goes to Stanbury's to check on her after her wedding in Mauritius. Nina asks her why she wants to have a ceremony when she's already married, Caroline explains that her parents would like to be at the wedding. Caroline asks her if she'll be at her bachelorette party and informs her that Sergio will be there as well. Nina was invited on the yacht to Stanbury's bachelorette party with Caroline Brooks and Lesa. During the party, Brooks and Lesa find themselves talking about Ayan. Brooks asks Nina if Ayan will be at the dinner she is hosting. Nina also invited Stanbury for dinner under the full moon with the rest of the group.

In “Sand Dunes and Don’ts” Caroline and Sara clearly don’t know each other. When Ayan mentions the bachelorette party, Stanbury points out that Sara wasn't invited either.

In “Sand Dunes and Don’ts” Stanbury clearly doesn’t get along with Ayan. As Ayan meets Lesa for lunch, after telling Lesa that Stanbury's wedding was a marriage of convenience, she tells her about a call from Brooks, who allegedly claims that Stanbury only invited the most important people and that Ayan wasn't one of them. During the dinner organized by Nina, an argument breaks out between Stanbury and Ayan. Ayan reproaches her for not stopping talking about an event that she was not present at. She also reproaches her for having said that she was not important. Stanbury tells her that she never said that but that she thinks it. Stanbury adds that she cannot stand Ayan even though she does not know her and does not want to know her.
