Dodging Rumors is the seventh episode in the fifteenth season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

On Bravotv.com: "Ubah considers next steps in the future of her relationship. Erin and Racquel go on a double date. Sai and her daughter get a wicked surprise. An alleged secret about one of the women spreads throughout the group and ends with a shocking twist."[1]

Erin tells Rebecca about Brynn's Nordstrom comment over lunch. Rebecca acts unbothered but is in her confession. Erin asks Rebecca about being both Jewish and Scientologist. Rebecca explains Jewish for her is a religion and Scientology is a "life philosophy". However, Rebecca thinks Scientology is a religion but more in a spiritual way. She thinks people should go "read a book" to form their own opinions about Scientology, but not Going Clear. Rebecca's parents got into Scientology when she was young, but she states she did so at her own volition at the age of 18. Erin is still confused after Rebecca's explanation. Erin complains to Rebecca about Jessel's comment about her being smelly at her Cinco de Mayo Party.
Ubah shopping for furniture for her boyfriend Oliver's place in Connecticut
Ubah shops for decoration to bring color to her boyfriend Oliver's home in Greenwich, Connecticut. Ubah is going to keep her apartment in New York City as the city is a part of her identity. Ubah is nervous about moving in with Oliver, they have different lifestyles in regards of Oliver has a rigid schedule while Ubah is more fluid. Ubah tells Stacey, her friend about her painful periods and she has an upcoming appointment with her doctor. Ubah is worried about her fertility because she wants to build a family with Oliver.
Sai and her daughter London visit Rebecca Minkoff's office to look at Wicked props. London leaves for the restroom and Sai confirms a dodgeball game with Rebecca.
Jessel's reaction of Erin telling her about the Rebecca rumor
Brynn tells Jessel and Erin her work at RIZZ. She goes in 3 times a week and manages about 14 people in New York, and there's 50 more employees in London. Jessel still doesn't know what Brynn does for her job but she is happy for her. Erin is cautious about Brynn's job because she's real serious about it. In fact, Brynn is heading to London in the following week.
They talk about Ubah's "basic b*tch" comment to Jessel at Erin's Cinco de Mayos Party. Brynn states she called Jenna the day after, Jenna apparently said "she'll have to think about it" on whether Jessel is a basic b*tch. Flashback shows Brynn trying to fish a sound bite out of Jenna and Jenna refusing to take the bait. Jessel, however, does take Brynn's bait and wonders if Jenna was truly defending her at Erin's party but talking behind her back. Brynn then attempts to downplay "getting a rise" out of Jessel, admitting to being "strategic" in her confession.
Brynn brings up the Nordstrom comment, Erin states Rebecca is "sensitive" at the moment. Erin tells the ladies in confidence that Rebecca is pregnant, hence the reason she's not drinking. Erin heard from a mutual friend that Rebecca got pregnant from a "crazy night" from someone that's not her husband.

Racquel and her fiance Mel and Erin and her husband Abe have drinks at a lesbian bar. Mel and Abe got on after Mel realizes Abe has a lot of "lesbian sensibilities". Mel keeps accidentally calling Abe Gabe, as Gay + Abe = Gabe, which Abe happily identifies as. Abe opens up in confession about almost experimenting in college and questioning his sexuality. Abe asks Racquel about her sexuality journey. Racquel states she has always had an idea since she was little, but it did not "materialize' until she started modeling and was living in a "model mansion" full of beautiful women. However, Racquel had mostly dated men, and Erin confirms that it's because Racquel thought it was the right way to go. When Racquel was getting divorced, she watched The L Word and identified with it immensely. Now she has "never looked back".
Jessel and her mother Nilam go jewelry shopping with Pavit's credit card. Jessel has found a couple's therapist in Mexico City, because he has a more "global point of view". Jessel also tells Nilam about Rebecca's pregnancy rumor. They spent $3002 on jewlery.

The ladies gather for dodgeball, they talk about Sai calling Rebecca boring. Rebecca actually sent Sai the article link. Sai can't help but always be the one in trouble. Brynn wastes no time in delivering the Rebecca rumor. Jessel is surprised that Brynn confessed to investigating the rumor with other people right after Erin had dropped the bomb on them. Jessel had met up with Rebecca a couple days prior, she was uncomfortable in possession of the tea while Rebecca talks about how hungry she is. Brynn tells Jessel she contacted Rebecca's husband Gavin's friend, who tells Brynn that they are open and "sleep around". Jenna arrives and they serve her the tea. The ladies are concerned over Rebecca playing dodge ball pregnant.

The ladies play coy as Rebecca arrives, who states she has a "food poisoning" feeling. Ubah arrives wearing heels, she's not playing due to her upcoming doctor appointment. Brynn and Jessel discuss whether Rebecca's situation originates from orgies. Sai delivers the pregnancy rumor to Ubah, they question Erin's motivation for telling the ladies without Rebecca's knowledge.
Jessel confronts Jenna over Brynn incited "basic b*tch" statement. Jenna exposes Brynn, Jessel believes Jenna, calling Brynn the "queen of embellishment". Brynn attempts to save face while Jenna and Jessel see through her antics. Erin arrives last and the game commences. The Blue Team has Sai, Brynn, Erin, and Jessel. The Red Team is composed of Racquel, Rebecca, Jenna. Red Team wins the first round. Brynn hits Rebecca in the stomach. Brynn also hits Jenna in the face in the third round.
The game ends, Jenna warns Rebecca about the rumor. Rebecca confronts Erin. Erin confesses to telling Jessel and Brynn, to which Jessel states "congrats". Rebecca storms off with Erin following. It was revealed they were both in on it and it was all a prank.
