Season 13[]
Gina is introduced to the social group and opens up about her life moving recently to Orange County but feeling like a single parent when Husband, Matt, is constantly away due to his job. Later on in the series, she reveals that she and Matt are “splitting up” which causes worry amongst the group since she seems so relaxed about it.
Season 14[]
The series opens showing Gina at her lowest point ever in life after just being charged with a DUI (Driving Under Influence), as she handles her legal issues and also opens up about the reason as to why her marriage fell apart - infidelity. The series unpacks all of Gina’s personal life problems and how she attempts to build back up her life.
Season 15[]
There is a much happier life in store for Gina as she is in a new relationship with boyfriend, Travis Mullen. As she is in a much happier place, she decides to build up a legal case against her Ex-Husband, Matt, who broke and entered after the pair had just separated to make him take some accountability and to help Gina move on.
Season 16[]
A new business venture is on the horizon as Gina unveils her new skincare line while focusing on her appearance as she receives a new makeover and is comfortable with her weight after fluctuations due to the previous stressful years amid the demise of her marriage. In addition to this, Gina looks back at how far she has come and how pleased she is to be in a good place in her relationship with her Ex-Husband for the sake of her kids and also how well her blended family have meshed together.

Gina works on earning her real estate license as she uses textbooks and her boyfriend to help her succeed in getting another skill under her belt. She continues to enjoy life in and amongst blended families but does realize that she isn’t exactly over the end of her marriage and didn’t come to terms with what exactly happened to her. As she attempts to confront these demons, she finds comfort in the fact that her boyfriend will stick with her through and through.

Gina Kirschenheiter has leveled up as a realtor, but her professional reputation is called into question after one of the ladies puts her in a sticky situation. Her relationship with Travis takes an unconventional turn when deciding she wants to live separately, but stay together. On top of this, as Gina watches bestie, Emily, get close to Tamra, she wonders if their friendship will remain the same.

Tamra and Emily hang out, Tamra thinks Gina has an issue that they are become closer, as Emily and Gina are best friends in Not My Cup of Tee.
Jenn mentioned to Tamra she hung out with Gina and Shannon in All Up In Gina’s Grill, they feel Emily and Tamra are getting closer and Emily has changed. Later on, Shannon tells Emily that Gina thinks she's has gotten meaner the closer she got with Tamra. Emily feels betrayed by her best friend. Emily sulks and pretends to be fine while obviously bothered. Emily confronts Gina about her comments at dinner, but Heather hijacks the argument.
Gina confronts Emily in The Gloves Are Off. Emily thinks Gina puts Heather on a pedestal and Heather manipulates Gina. Gina thinks Emily is being aggressive toward Jenn. Argument ensued and Gina storms off. Gina was unable to get in the house thus needing to go back to the court. Emily intercepts Gina, they both break down. Gina is scared of potentially losing Travis and Emily. They apologize and makeup as Shannon and Heather arrive.
Emily feels insecure about her body at Heather's fashion show in Catwalks and Catfights, due to the other ladies have pants custom made while Heather asked her to bring her own jeans, Gina consoles her. The next day, Gina is cracking under the pressure of the impending talk with Heather, along with the Travis situation, Emily consoles her.

In Exes and OCs, Jenn revealed that she is $2,000 overdue in rent and is being evicted. Gina is the realtor for Jenn, she is worried that it might damage her fresh career as she vouched for Jenn, allowing her to move in without a credit check.
The feud came to a head in Rent and Reputations, Gina's resentment toward Jenn grows because a deal fell through in result of Jenn's eviction. Jenn tells Katie Ginella about Emily Simpson knowing her situation despite not telling her, indicating that Gina is telling other people her business. Katie tells Gina what Jenn had said and Gina refuted that she was telling other people Jenn's situation and that Jenn had posted on Instagram. Gina and Jenn meet to address the elephant in the room. The meeting gone off at a bad start as Gina noticed Jenn has professional glam and new clothes on (while not being able to pay for rent). Argument ensued immediately as all the issues come to a head, leading to Gina storming out and issues unresolved.
Red Flags and Flag Footballs picks up immediately with Gina calling Emily while Jenn calls Shannon. Shannon tells Jenn that she understands where Gina is coming from, Jenn thinks out of anyone Gina should understand falling into hardship. Gina thinks Jenn should live within her means. At Emily's Flag Football event, Gina and Jenn talks through their issues, Gina called Jenn a "squatter". Jenn opens up about never having a credit card in her name and learning about finances post divorce at a later age. Jenn also brings up that Ryan took up her car debt ($24,000). The ladies encourage Jenn to be independent and not to rely on her partners financially. Gina understands Jenn and reveals to the group that Travis is moving out, due to them not being able to sustain the lifestyle of 6 kids, and Travis's difficult relationship with his ex. However, they are not breaking up. Tamra express incredulity over the arrangement in her confessional. Gina and Jenn bound over the difficult times in their lives and resolve their issues.

In Exes and OCs, Gina brings along her friend Katie, Katie is new to the area and her friend, Sutton Stracke, recommended Gina as a realtor. In Not My Cup of Tee, Katie revealed that her friend who has close connections with paparazzi confirmed Tamra and Emily's suspicions, last season, of Heather hiring paparazzi at Disneyland. Gina is surprised Katie told the ladies as one of them will relay it to Heather. Later on, Katie visits Gina. Gina refreshed Katie on the paparazzi drama last year and expresses concerns as she knows Heather will be mad based on past experiences.
In Dinner Party Disaster, Katie and Gina have coffee. Katie feels betrayed as Gina took Heather's side. Gina doubles down on her position which made Katie cry and doubting their friendship. In All Up In Gina’s Grill, Katie is wary of Gina as she picked Heather's side in their conflict. Later on, Tamra insinuated Gina set Katie up and maybe doesn't like Heather as the instigator of the drama. Jenn says Gina feels Katie puts her in a bad situation, Tamra continues the insinuation. The timeline of when Gina calls Katie after the Golf Event is also disputed. Both Katie and Gina accuse each other of lying in their confessionals, with Gina saying it's 10 minutes and Katie stating months. Heather and Gina get emotional and agree to move on. Katie expresses distrust in Gina in The Gloves Are Off.
Katie tells Jenn that she wants to apologize again to Heather after being shut down by her at Tamra's Traitors Party in Catwalks and Catfights. Katie thinks Gina has been stirring the pot between her and Heather. At Heather's fashion show, Heather tells Tamra about Katie attempting to talk to her. Tamra plants the seed of Gina is manipulating Katie in Heather's head. Katie told Tamra that Gina told her she wants to stay on Heather's good side for her real estate connections, therefore letting Katie confront Heather regarding the paparazzi situation. Heather believes Tamra and puts a pin in it due to the fashion show starting. After the show, Jenn tells Gina Katie tried to talk to Heather at the sound bath and insinuated Gina is the instigator. Gina tries to talk to Katie and Katie doesn't want to talk right away.
The next day, Katie tells her husband Matt she's not looking forward to the talk with Heather and is upset with Gina. Gina addresses the elephant in the room as they sit down for lunch. Katie states she has heard from people (Tamra) that Gina is calling her a liar. Gina explodes on Katie, and subsequently Heather. Emily defends Gina due to the rough patch she's going through. Heather brings up that Katie said Gina is only using Heather for her real estate connections, Gina is flabbergasted and denies. Emily affirms what Gina said. Katie and Gina argue. Katie reveals what Gina said was that Heather is a good friend that helps with her career. Emily tries to defuse the situation, Tamra tells Gina she's being defensive, Heather believes in Gina and Katie has not taken accountability. Gina feels betrayed by Katie, they make up regardless.
Gina visits Shannon in Singled Out and refreshes Shannon on her argument with Katie previous episode. Gina is incredulous and adamant Heather has not helped her with her real estate business, and hopes she and Katie can "clear it out." Emily inquires Katie during lunch with Jenn on if she had talked to Gina since the Sonoma trip, they haven't.

In Dinner Party Disaster, Heather is upset that Gina, being her friend would let Katie gather information and confront her. Heather interrogates Gina on her friendship with Katie, Gina apologizes to Heather. Both Emily and Katie think Gina is afraid of Heather.
Heather feels betrayed by Gina and is angry at her from the Katie situation in All Up In Gina’s Grill. Gina feels Heather has been distant from her and is holding onto the Katie situation. At dinner, Heather and Gina argue. Heather proceeds to compares her paparazzi rumor to Shannon's comment about CPS and Gina's children last year. Specifically regarding how it affects her kids. Argument goes back to Katie, where the timeline of when Gina calls Katie after the Golf Event is disputed. Heather and Gina get emotional and agree to move on. Heather thinks Gina is acting different and she is going through something serious at home in The Gloves Are Off.

In Exes and OCs, Shannon had gotten an DUI, just like Gina had five years ago, which made Shannon turn over a new leaf. At Heather's New Year, New Me lunch, Shannon apologizes to Gina and they reconcile after last season's drama. In Rent and Reputations, Shannon apologizes again to Gina as she draws parallel between her and Gina's DUI's and they connect on a deeper level.
Gina tells Tamra that Shannon drank in La Quinta in The Gloves Are Off. Gina reveals that she also had a drinking problem and did not stop drinking after her DUI. Gina defends Shannon and speaks from experience that forcing an alcoholic to confront their problem does more harm than good. However, Tamra insists on her "tough love" approach toward Shannon. Gina debates whether she should tell Shannon about the video Alexis claims to have with Katie and Heather in Once A Traitor, Always A Traitor. She is worried about the effects on Shannon's children if the video is released.
Gina tells Alexis the Ring footage of Shannon on the night of her DUI cannot be released in fear of the repercussions it can have on Shannon and her family in A Picture Worth A Thousand Words. Gina is confused by the vindictiveness of John as he portrays he and Alexis' relationship to be happy. The ladies voice disbelief of Shannon needing to sit in a dinner table with Alexis later on. Gina accidentally brings up the Ring footage, the ladies tell Shannon. Shannon is infuriated and overwhelmed, as expected, and breaks down even more. Shannon calls her lawyer to relay the new information. Shannon returns and reveals she is going to pay John's demand in full. Gina consoles Shannon, and feels guilty for slipping out the Ring footage.
Alexis, Tamra, Gina, and Emily attend biscuit making class in Catwalks and Catfights. Alexis tells the ladies that she's willing to move on. Gina and Emily want Alexis to understand their support for Shannon does not translate to an attack on her. Gina states she's supporting Shannon because she sees Shannon as her future self had she not stopped drinking. The ladies agree on supporting Shannon.
Gina visits Shannon in Singled Out, grabbing a couple lemons out of Shannon's neighbor's tree on the way. Gina asks Shannon about her Dos Amigas show with Vicki, downgraded from Tres Amigas with Tamra dropping out. Gina takes a tour of Shannon's house and refreshes Shannon on her argument with Katie previous episode. Shannon's attorney informed her that John's attorney admitted to the Ring footage is for "blackmail purposes". Shannon's attorney is moving forward with filing a lawsuit against John.

Alexis, Tamra, Gina, and Emily attend biscuit making class in Catwalks and Catfights. Alexis tells the ladies that she's willing to move on. Gina and Emily want Alexis to understand their support for Shannon does not translate to an attack on her. Gina states she's supporting Shannon because she sees Shannon as her future self had she not stopped drinking. The ladies agree on supporting Shannon.
Alexis arrives at Jenn's Fiesta Party visibly bothered but refusing to tell the ladies what's on her mind in Singled Out. Although stating the issue is not about her and John, and revealing it's about the ongoing legal dispute. Gina understands issues with an ex and consoles Alexis, although still puzzled at why Alexis and John are voluntarily involved in the situation with Shannon. Alexis is overwhelmed by the loss of her mom, breakup with a fiance, and the John and Shannon situation.

In Exes and OCs, Gina meets with Emily Simpson and they talk about Travis, Gina's boyfriend who has an ex that makes Travis's life difficult, therefore making Gina's current relationship difficult as well. With the kids growing up and needing more room in the house, Gina thinks some time apart will do them good. Later on, they have the difficult conversation of Travis moving out for space.
Gina opens up about Travis moving out at Emily's Flag Football event in Red Flags and Flag Footballs. Later on, Both Gina and Travis are very emotional as Travis is packing up to move out. Gina feels guilty about making the decision of Travis leaving. Travis doesn't think that the space is needed because of the kids like Gina said, Gina admits it might be she needs space from Travis's ex.
Gina talks about missing Travis and not doing so well in Not My Cup of Tee. She told Heather that they talked and it feels like they are breaking up, but she wants to test out the separation for 3 months before they make decisions. Gina tells the ladies they got a new dog, Clover in A Picture Worth A Thousand Words. Katie thinks Clover is Gina's way of coping with her relationship situation with Travis. Gina confides with the ladies about Travis, they spend more time at Travis' as Travis views Gina's ongoing renovation as a clean slate without him. Gina worries about her daughter Sienna, who does not do well in transitions. Gina states she likes her current situation living separately from Travis.
Gina is cracking under the pressure of the impending talk with Heather in Catwalks and Catfights, along with the Travis situation, Emily consoles her. Later at lunch, Gina starts crying from the pressure and uncertainty of her relationship with Travis. Everyone console Gina, Gina feels guilty of making the executive decisions of having space between her and Travis. Emily thinks Gina needs to make a plan and have goal to work toward with Travis.
