Heather Thomson is a former main and recurring cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Casting[]
Thomson joined The Real Housewives of New York City for its fifth season and featured as a ‘Housewife’ until the conclusion of the seventh season. She decided to leave the show to focus more on her business and her family.
Despite this, she made ‘Guest Appearances’ during the eighth, ninth, tenth and twelfth seasons of the show before returning as a ‘Friend’ (in a recurring capacity) for the thirteenth season. However, she exited the season halfway through production after her feud with Leah McSweeney; later admitting that she regretted to return to the show and felt "dirty" while hoping that the entire show was recast. She was originally intended to be involved in a main capacity but due to leaving the season earlier, was deemed as a ‘Friend of the Housewives’. Thomson has not returned to the show since.
