Hotel Ruffles is the 9th episode of the 1st season of The Real Housewives of Sydney. It is the 9th overall episode of the Sydney franchise.

Summary[]
Krissy, Nicole, and Athena X are enjoying a dip in the rooftop infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands. The ladies talk about the disastrous drink tossing dinner last night. Athena X thinks what happened was unavoidable. Krissy and Nicole think Victoria was out of line and Athena X deserves an apology. Krissy has a change of heart about Athena X and enjoys her company.
Matty and Melissa refresh Lisa on what happened at dinner while shopping. Lisa is not surprised that it happened due to Victoria's behavior toward Levendi jewelry at her charity event. Matty asks Lisa if she sent Lizzie Buttrock to raise a ruckus at the charity, Lisa denies. However, Lisa admitted to telling Lizzie what happened between Victoria and Athena X prior to the charity event. Lisa thinks Victoria owes Athena X an apology. Lisa states things are good between her and Krissy when prompted by the ladies but still thinks Krissy is obnoxious and overtly sexual.
All the ladies go to lunch, Victoria regrets her behavior last night, but also blames her behavior on Athena X. Victoria apologizes to some of the things she said to Athena X. Krissy thinks drinks would not be tossed if Lisa was present, as Athena X took the brunt of the Lizzie Buttrose situation. Lisa denies the accusations, Victoria and Krissy think Lisa is lying. Lisa confronts Krissy about what she thinks is slutty behavior, but reveals she does not like Krissy because she made fun of her marriage issues. Krissy questions where Lisa hear that and Lisa recalls what Athena X had told her at Athena X's art exhibit in For Art's Sake. A rift grows between Athena X and Lisa as Athena X denies telling Lisa about Krissy, argument ensued. Lisa thinks Athena X has been feeding her lies about Krissy. Lisa apologizes to Krissy and regrets her behavior at Athena X's art exhibition. Krissy accepts the apology. However, in Lisa's confessional she states she does not mean the apology and stands by her statements, she just wants to look good in front of the other ladies. Krissy states in her confessional that she does not feel the apology is real. Lisa refuses Athena X's attempt of apology.
Lucy
Victoria has an emotional first meeting with her half sibling Lucy. Lucy shows Victoria the wedding ring their dad was wearing when he passed. Victoria states that their dad passed on her son's birthday. The newfound sisters are glad to have meet each other, Victoria invites Lucy to have drinks with the ladies, especially Krissy as she has been with her on the entire journey.
Krissy tells the ladies Victoria is bringing Lucy to join them for drinks. Lisa is glad to see Victoria happy. Krissy and Athena X act like best friends to Lisa's displeasure, Athena X brings up their argument from lunch. Athena X starts attacking Lisa, while Victoria begs Athena X to not do it in front of her sister. Lucy goes to the restroom during the argument. The argument escalates, Melissa is roped into the argument. Lisa storms off with Melissa and Victoria in tow. Matty and Athena X break off and Matty tries to calm Athena X down. Victoria apologizes to Lucy. Lisa joins Matty and Athena X, Athena X admits Krissy did question Lisa's marital problems.
Victoria and Melissa go shopping in Little India. The ladies are embarrassed of Lisa and Athena X's behavior in front of Lucy. Victoria has had enough of Athena X. Melissa is incredulous of Athena X and Krissy's newfound friendship, Victoria doesn't think it will last. Victoria and Melissa got lost in the fish and meat market and are repulsed, that it smells like fish and meat, to their surprise.
Krissy, Athena X, and Matty go for facials. Krissy got the bird dropping facial. The ladies talk about what happened last night. Krissy feels bad for Athena X and thinks Lisa is lying. Krissy denies questioning Lisa's marriage but only finding it confusing. Athena X apologizes to Krissy, Krissy tells Athena X she should be aware of her behavior as Sydney is a small place.
Victoria have drinks with Lucy and apologize about the night before. They reiterated how fortunate they have found each other, they make dinner plans.
All the ladies minus Victoria have dinner, they have fun having drinks first. But Lisa is not happy with Athena X and Krissy's friendship. Melissa is disappointed that Victoria is not joining the final dinner of the trip. Krissy shares the same sentiment, stating that Victoria told her that she is sick but she knows Victoria is actually partying somewhere. Nicole echoes the ladies. Krissy proposes an intervention for Victoria, and to resolve additional conflicts with other ladies. Athena X and Lisa begin arguing again and get heated. Athena X hugs Lisa and they make up suddenly. However, Lisa states she's still hurt in the confessional. Krissy breaks down about her and Lisa, they both agree that they don't have to be best friends and just move on.
