Jacqueline Laurita is a former main and recurring cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Casting[]
Laurita made up one of the original five main cast members on the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She starred as a ‘Housewife’ until the conclusion of the fifth season. It is unclear why she didn’t return to the sixth season in a main capacity but she did return as a ‘Friend of the Housewives’ (in a recurring capacity) where she filmed a few scenes for the season. She then did return in the seventh season as a ‘Housewife’ but left the show for good after only one run back as a full-time cast member as she says she was made to feel unwelcome by cast members, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, plus the executive producers who were mulling over what capacity they’d offer Laurita for the eighth season.
