Jen Shah is a former main cast member on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Casting[]
Shah made up one of the six original main cast members in the first season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She continued starring as a 'Housewife' until the conclusion of the third season; the season that she skipped the Reunion Special due to being unable to answer any questions surrounding her legal issues. Shah was sentenced to six and a half years in prison and begun serving ahead of filming beginning for the fourth season but was forced to bow out from any filming commitments after the previous season’s finale due to the severity of her legal issues, which culminated in a federal prison sentence of 78 months. It is expected Jen Shah will serve about 42 months in prison to satisfy her sentence, which means she may return home in August 2026.
Synopsis[]
Season 1[]
As a Tongan and Hawaiian growing up in Salt Lake City, Jen Shah felt like she often stuck out in her traditionally white, Mormon world. When she learned about the historical mistreatment of black people in the Mormon religion, she converted from Mormonism to Islam. A mom of two with her Husband, Sharrieff, Jen is the queen of her house and her businesses as the CEO of three marketing companies. Always decked out in designer brands, Jen loves to host parties and spares no expense - it's important to her that everyone knows she is the best host in Utah. With an extravagant personality and sharp tongue, she can go from 0 to 100 very quickly, but usually comes back with apologies and love. But it's not always fun and games for Jen with this group of women when she quickly finds herself at the center of the drama.
Season 2[]
This season, Jen is focusing on channeling her inner zen and mending the important relationships in her life, but her world comes crashing down when charges are brought against her. She is in for the fight of her life as she quickly realizes who her true friends are and questions who may have turned her in.
Season 3[]
Amid an ongoing legal battle, Jen Shah is leaning on her friends and family for support more than ever. When the group's dynamics shift, Jen's new alliances cause a divide among the women. Jen and her husband, Sharrieff, downsize their house as they face the uncertainty of their future together.
