Season 1[]
Jeana buys Kara a Mercedes in Meet The Wives. She wishes Kara to be a doctor or a lawyer while Kara enjoys sports. Jeana got married at 18 and does not want Kara to repeat her experience. Kara appreciates Jeana supporting her at her sporting events, however, Matt is not in attendance and Kara thinks Matt likes Shane more. Kara makes the varsity volleyball team and receives $500, which she pre-negotiated.
Kara discusses sex with Jeana in Cut The ‘P’ and ‘Lem’ Out of Problem and You Get ROB, and thinks even though Jeana was a Playboy Playmate, she can't be further from that in real life.
In The Finale, Jeana feels bad leaving Kara out while spending a lot of time helping Shane get ready for college, so she brings Kara along with Vicki and Lauri to go diamond shopping with Barbara Parker, Jewelry Broker. Jeana buys Kara jewelry for her birthday.
Season 2[]
Dogs run wild in the Keough household, but nobody take responsibilities for them. Jeana threatens Kara on selling her dog if she does not take care of them. Kara believes Jeana and states it has happened before. Kara enjoys the dogs company as Matt is often away and Jeana is working. One of the dogs, Shire, passed away. Kara and Shane were at a party, Kara rushed home while Shane stayed at the party. Colton and Matt are heartbroken. Colton and Kara are the closest to the dogs.

Season 1[]
In Meet The Wives, Kara appreciates Jeana supporting her at her sporting events, however, Matt is not in attendance and Kara thinks Matt likes Shane more. When Shane got drafted by the Oakland A's and Kara makes varsity volleyball, the siblings congratulate each other.
Jeana is sad Shane's leaving but is excited to enjoy the peace without Shane and Kara's bickering in Shocking News. Jeana says whatever Shane gets Kara wants it too. Shane states there's friendly competition between the siblings. Kara thinks Shane is the baby despite being the oldest and gets whatever he wants. Shane affirms it. Kara spend over 2 grand buying clothes. Jeana knows she spoils her kids. Shane says Kara and him would not talk for weeks when they say something each other don't like. But they'll hang out like nothing happened. Both siblings states they'll miss and love each other when Shane leaves for college, although they are not each other's favorite people.
The day Shane is leaving is here in The Finale, to Kara's surprise . Kara states it will be difficult for Shane to be independent. The siblings say their goodbyes, although Kara and Shane continue to bicker.

Kara and Shane wreak havoc as kids do in The Housewives Are Back!, but Matt is unable to take it due to his previous head injury. Kara and Matt argue, Kara states she never knew Matt pre-injury, unlike Shane, who experienced Matt in a kinder light.

Kara married Kyle Bosworth in 2014 after becoming "engaged in October 2012 after meeting at UCLA."[1] The couple since then have welcomed Decker Kate, McCoy Casey, Vaughn Mack, and most recently Stetson Lou in 2023.[2] Unfortunately, McCoy passed away "six days after he was born due to shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord."[3] Shane named his first child McKay in honor of McCoy.
