Wakile joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey for its third season and starred as a 'Housewife' for the fourth and fifth seasons too. Wakile was demoted to a ‘Friend of the Housewives’ for the show’s sixth season as she and producers agreed upon this decision and Wakile felt this was a “better for her lifestyle”. She returned in this capacity for the show’s seventh season before exiting the series for good ahead of the eighth season. Wakile chose to walk away from the show since she felt it was massively impacting her family negatively and wanted to “finally end the circus of the show”.
