Helping Sister[]
Kyle is on a mission to help her Sister, Kim Richards, with a few things in life. She promised her Mother (when she was in her dying days) that she’d look after her whole family (Kim especially as a co-dependent person and as a divorcee). This proves trying when the Sisters squabble over the smallest of things. As Kyle attempts to help Kim branch out of the phase where her kids are her the focus, it proves easier said than done as Kim appears to be uncomfortable and find it challenging to form new connections with some of Kyle’s friends. Additionally, as Kim is trying to find her new home, Kyle does everything she can to make the process easier for her older Sister but the mixed messaging also drives Kyle insane. With Kyle being asked not be so intrusive in Kim’s life, by Kim, she finds it increasingly difficult to help her and stick to honoring her Mother’s dying wish. An example of this is when Kim’s Daughter, Whitney, comes to her Mother with a proposal which threatens to rock her Mother’s world and leaves the Sisters arguing over what is best for Whitney and how involved Kyle should be in the decision-making process.
A Doting Mother[]
In addition to helping out her Sister, Kyle is very keen to be a dedicated Mother; which is shown when she plans and throws the second birthday party for her youngest Daughter, Portia. Since Kyle isn’t into the Beverly Hills competitive scene when it comes to kids' parties, she opts to spend only $12,000, she wants it to be a family event (where kids and their families sit together) and chooses not to serve alcohol at a kids party since it is not the right environment. Kyle is described (by Husband, Mauricio, and Lisa Vanderpump) and shown to be adoringly looking at Portia and really wanting to make it the best day for her which sums up her life priority. While Kim arrives late to the party which slightly riles up Kyle, the difference in opinion doesn’t lead to anything more than a jovial joke about Kim’s timekeeping which proves there is some things that the Sisters don’t have to argue over. To end Portia’s birthday party, Kyle requests that Mauricio leads the "Happy Birthday" song when Portia’s birthday cake is served since she wants to instill tradition in her kids; in the hope that they can connect with their heritage.
Flying Fear[]
Kyle has always had a fear of flying and confesses to always have mini "freak-outs" during airplane flights and nervously counting down the hours until she boards airplanes. In the earlier part of the season, the 'Housewives' head to Las Vegas for two trips organised by Adrienne Maloof to watch a home basketball game and for a weekend trip at the Palms Hotel Casino. Both of these trips, while flying privately, showed a distressed Kyle; especially during take off and landing. Lisa Vanderpump decides to call in a hypnotherapist, named Scott, to try and help Kyle face this fear; Lisa admits this is done not only in the interest of Kyle but also in the interest of herself who usually sits next to Kyle on flights with this group of women and is likely to be for the upcoming six hour trip to New York City as the 'Housewives' go and watch Camille Grammer’s Husband, Kelsey Grammer, on stage. The hypnotherapist arrives and places an ECG (electrocardiography) on Kyle’s forehead and registers Kyle’s brain waves which encapsulates a lot of emotions that she is experiencing as they chat about flying. As the hypnotist works his magic, Kyle admits to being transfixed and totally taken during the experience and is optimistic about how she’ll feel on her next flight. As they touch down in New York, days later, Kyle admits to feeling a deep sense of calm while on the plane (also manages to get taken up to view the cock pit) and says that the hypnotherapist has changed her life!

Touring Homes
In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, Kim and Kyle are introduced as Sisters who are very close yet are at a stage in their lives where they’re finding that each other are getting on each other’s nerves. As Kim is house hunting, she leans on Kyle for support. However, when they’re going round of the potential homes that Kim is looking to buy, Kyle grows frustrated with Kim’s constant change of heart and mixed messages about what her priorities are, when she wants to move, how many bedrooms that she wants, and more. However, Kyle is keen to stick to the promise that she gave her Mother (when she was in her final days) to look after Kim since Kim is divorced and a very co-dependent person. She decides to invite out Kim to meet some of her friends when Adrienne Maloof hosts a day in Las Vegas to watch a Sacramento Kings basketball game; since she wants Kim to branch out and live a life outside of just her kids. Kyle and Kim have a little disagreement when back in Beverly Hills as they clash over how involved Kyle is in the process of helping Kim find an ideal home for her, as Kim feels Kyle is a little too involved in her personal life where she would step back and let her Sister have her own space to deal with her own personal life. They argue over how much of an effort Kim made with the group during the day trip to Las Vegas (which they have differing opinions of how well Kyle handled introducing her Sister to her friends), what Kim’s priorities should be for her new house and what Kim’s priorities should be in life (Kim feels it still needs to be on her kids, Kyle thinks differently). Kyle ends up feeling under appreciated and storms out of Kim’s house; telling her to handle things on her own. Kim feels Kyle has no idea what it is like to be a single mother and is very appreciative of her Sister’s help but there has to be some boundaries.

Shopping For Easter
In Chocolate Louboutins, the pair of Sisters, alongside Lisa Vanderpump, spend Easter together with their families in Palm Desert; which is an early family tradition from when they were young. While the Richards Sisters had a recent bust up, they are both willing to put it behind themselves and concentrate on having a good Easter. Kyle mentions that this fits in with their usual relationship dynamic - one minute arguing like crazy and the next cuddling each other. When Kim and her kids arrive in Palm Desert, Kim and Kyle realize that they have differing parenting styles and clash over whether it was wise to invite round Kyle’s friends on the first night that they arrived but these small tiffs don’t stop them from shopping together and also disagreeing on each and every item that they purchase. During the meal preparation on their first night in Palm Springs, there is a little disagreement after Kim pokes fun at how Kyle is incessant about having organic food. This prompts Kyle to admit that she and her Sister have underlying issues in and amongst their relationship which means the smallest disagreement causes bigger arguments nowadays. Despite yet another blip, the pair of Sisters make it through the Easter weekend together and Kyle reckons that she and Kim are now back to being in a normal place but finds it impossible to predict how long this will last for. Back in Beverly Hills, during Kim’s second Daughter, Whitney’s, birthday party, Kyle and Kim’s issues boil over once again. As Whitney is planning on heading to Houston, where her Dad, boyfriend and friends are, for the summer, Kim seeks backing from Kyle to tell her Daughter not to go since she is worried that a Summer will turn into forever. Despite this, Kyle is unwilling to do this as she wants to give her own opinion which is contradicting this. Kim is frustrated that Kyle is unwilling to support her, no matter what, which is what she thinks her Sister should be doing. Additionally, Kim finds Kyle to over-step the mark once again when it comes to almost parenting Kim’s children and not letting Kim do the parenting. Kyle finds Kim always able to turn a fun occasion into a negative and is worried she will not be able to stick to her word to her Mother to look after Kim and the entire family (which includes Kim’s kids) since Kim is very stubborn and not able to stand on her own two feet.

A Tense Toast
In Plenty of Baggage, Kyle admits that she hasn’t always agreed with her Sister’s taste in men and jokes how she should be vetting the guy that Kim is about go on a date with before she meets him. There are no downs on their second group trip to Las Vegas which is positive for the pair.
In It’s My Party and I’ll Spend If I Want To, Kyle invites Kim to her youngest Daughter, Portia’s, second birthday party. Since Kim is moving into her new home on the exact same day as the birthday party, Kim is unable to arrive earlier than the party start time and help set the backyard up for the party. While Kyle is a little disappointed that Kim did not arrive early and, in fact, arrived late to the party, they turn the topic into more of a joke and don’t let a minute detail cause an argument.

Kyle & Kim: In A Happier Moment
In The Art of War, Kyle and Kim’s up-and-down relationship comes massively in the forefront of the picture. As Kyle has a bust-up with Camille Grammer, she begins to get upset as someone is claiming she has said something which she vehemently denies and doesn’t know how to handle the situation. Since Kim has just had a smaller argument with Taylor Armstrong; who Kyle has tried to diffuse by telling Kim to drop it, Kim decides to say to Kyle that she should stop getting upset when she is partly to blame for the argument. Kyle questions why Kim didn’t speak up for her when she put Kim on the spot to confirm that she did not say what Camille is alleging she said (since she was the only other person present when Kyle allegedly asked the question which offended Camille). Kim tells Kyle to stay in her place and the Sisters bicker about each other not being good Sisters. Kyle tells Kim that what she is doing is not OK. As the fight is broken up by Lisa, the Sisters don’t leave on the best terms - leading Kim pining to get back home. The next day, Kyle tries to chat to her Sister over the phone but Kim does not pick up and Kyle decides not to leave a voicemail. Kyle admits to Lisa that their bust-up is weighing heavily on her. Later in the day, Taylor, Lisa, and the two Sisters head out for a spot of lunch. Kim gifts everyone with a bracelet and Kyle admits that she can’t be that thankful or appreciative since she is so angry at her Sister for last night. Kim does admit that Kyle did not ask the question that Camille claims she did which prompts Kyle to ask why Kim did not defend her at the time she most needed her too. Kim claims there was never a moment for her to say anything yet Kyle refutes this since she placed Kim on the spot. As Kim re-considers going to Camille’s Husband, Kelsey’s, premiere night, to avoid anymore drama; Kyle, who is not sure whether she is going to go due to her drama with Camille, questions whether this is a move of solidarity to make up for not defending her the night prior. However, she admits to be on the verge of snapping so wants her Sister to be careful. No other drama does go down for the remainder of the New York trip. On the journey back home, Kyle softens when her Sister talks about life without a companion - admitting that she finds it strange how much a relationship with a Sister can shift so rapidly (from being angry to making up in an instant).

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, Lisa and Kyle describe each other highly as Lisa calls Kyle her "partner-in-crime", indicating that they already have a withstanding friendship. As Lisa goes onto say how funny she finds Kyle, she points out that they’re so close since they both have a handbag addiction! Lisa, does however, find flying with Kyle a little annoying since the latter is such a nervous flier and it brings out her dramatic and neurotic side, according to Lisa. At lunch, in Las Vegas, Kyle seems most comfortable with Lisa and tries to imitate her English accent; which the latter feels isn’t done too well!

They all enjoy the festivities together and while Kyle commends how Lisa always has the best and biggest things from the cards to the dogs to the gifts, Lisa gushes over how much she adores Kyle. When the pair of Sisters have a little disagreement while away in Palm Desert, Lisa does defend her friend within the mini-battle, which is Kyle.

In Plenty of Baggage, Kyle is in good spirits with Lisa, as normal, as they have a laugh with each other at the airport, during dinners and by pool during the trip that Adrienne Maloof has organized in Las Vegas. Since Camille Grammer and Kyle had a mini-altercation before they left Vegas, Camille vents to their mutual friend, Lisa, and alleges that Kyle questioned why "anyone would be interested in Camille without Kelsey being there". Lisa defends her good friend, Kyle, suggesting that she’d never say such a thing and speculates that maybe Camille misheard or misunderstood Kyle’s wording and intentions.
In It’s My Party and I’ll Spend If I Want To, Lisa attends Kyle’s youngest Daughter, Portia’s, second birthday party; just after attending Taylor Armstrong’s Daughter, Kennedy’s, fourth birthday party. She admits that going from Kennedy to Portia’s birthday party felt more like returning to home and gave her a more authentic and cozier feeling as she arrived in Kyle’s backyard (where Portia’s birthday party was taking place). During this, she is very fond of Kyle looking and celebrating her youngest Daughter, Portia’s, birthday and this reminds Lisa of the time that she had young children.

Lisa & Kyle Chatting About Kyle’s Fallout With Camille
In I Would Never Say That, Lisa enlists the help of a hypnotherapist to help Kyle face her fear of flying. Lisa is hoping that this treatment will work since then she won’t have Kyle (who she usually sits next to on flights) freaking next to her but joking aside, she is also keen to help out her friend who she thinks can get over this fear. They have a giggle beforehand since Kyle is apprehensive and can’t believe what Lisa has got her involved in, they have a giggle when the hypnotist arrives since Lisa tries to trick Kyle into thinking that the hypnotist is actually a salesman and manage to have a giggle afterwards about the experience that they’ve just had. At the airport ahead of flying to New York, Kyle and Lisa chat about the former’s fall out with Camille and the latter mentions how she spoke with Camille who relayed a different version of events that Kyle and Camille had to the conversation that Kyle claims they had. As Lisa admits she did defend Kyle as she said to Camille that she thinks she misheard or misinterpreted, Kyle decides to walk Lisa through the conversation again. As Lisa questions why Camille would hear something so differently to what Kyle claims she said, Kyle slightly snaps at Lisa and asks her to "let me finish!". Lisa says that it is so petty between the pair that they just need to work it out right at the start of the trip and be done with it.

In The Art of War, Lisa jumps immediately to defend Kyle when Kyle has a mini-argument with her Sister, Kim, about crying after an argument with Camille. Lisa insists that Kyle has a right to defend herself after Camille accuses her of saying something that she vehemently denies. She manages to tell Kyle that this is something not worth crying or fighting about and to diffuse the situation, she removes Kyle from the situation and dinner ends. After the chaotic first night in New York City, during the next day, Kyle and Lisa go outfit shopping for Kelsey’s new show’s debut yet Kyle mulls over the idea of whether she should be going tonight or not. Lisa offers her friend some firm advice: go, have a good time, don’t cover old ground and deal with the open wound once back in California. Kyle ends up going to the show.

In I Would Never Say That, Kyle and Taylor head out to dress shop for their upcoming New York trip. Kyle picks Taylor up at her home and meets her new dog, Snowball, and her Daughter, Kennedy. Taylor feels guilty leaving Kennedy when she is not in school but Kyle tries to quash the feelings by saying that it is good for Kennedy to bond with her Dad, Russell. They try on dresses and outfits and both compliment how great each other look. Kyle jokingly admits to feeling jealous since Taylor is a "size triple zero" while she is a "size to two or four" which she remarks as average for Beverly Hills standards!

Kyle & Taylor Sharing Excitement About Seeing Their Families
In The Art of War, after Kim Richards and Taylor share choice words for each other during their first night in New York: Taylor is visibly frustrated and asks Kyle if she knows what her Sister’s problem with. Since Kyle has just had an argument with Camille Grammer, she tries to diffuse the situation and get Kim to drop it; which causes a rift between the Sisters. After such a chaotic New York trip, they both bond over looking forward to seeing their families when they get home.

In Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Wealthiness, there appears to be more of an acquaintance-type relationship between Camille and Kyle as they do not mention how well they know each other but seem to be only getting to know each other on the private jet over to Las Vegas, which Adrienne Maloof has organized. When in Las Vegas, the 'Housewives' go to watch a basketball game involving the Sacramento Kings (the team that Adrienne’s family company owns) and during this match, Camille is quite confidently dancing with the team’s mascot and is a little bit of a show-off, according to Kyle.
In Plenty of Baggage, Kyle questions why Camille keeps referring to herself as a single mother when she still has a Husband (who is away from the family in New York due to a new work role) and has four nannies to look after her kids. This is said after Camille compares herself to Kyle’s Sister, Kim Richards, who is a single mother to four with no staff. During their first dinner in Las Vegas (a trip organized by Adrienne), some of the 'Housewives' recount the first time that they met their Husbands. Kyle appears suspicious and views Camille’s to be far fetched when she claims an agent of Kelsey Grammer’s set him up with her (Kyle doesn’t understand why a date would be set up with Camille specifically). Kyle comments further about Camille’s actions from the fact that she isn’t a girl’s girl (like to sit with the guys by the swimming pool when the girls are all together) and the fact that she kisses a man on the lips that is not her Husband (kisses her close friend, Nick, who ends up joining the group for a bit of the Las Vegas trip). Before they all head back to Beverly Hills, there is an off-camera altercation between Camille and Kyle. While Camille and Kyle were discussing Camille’s plans for Spring Break, Camille alleges that Kyle said, "Why would anyone be interested in you without Kelsey there?". While Kyle had asked follow-up questions about Camille’s plans for the holiday, she denies thinking or saying anything remotely along those lines; with Camille telling Kyle that she could feel her tension and that she doesn’t like being interrogated while also asking what Kyle’s problem was. Camille is uncomfortable that the pair left on uneasy terms but says that she will stand up for herself if someone comes for her while Kyle is left feeling awkward about the situation since she thinks Camille is clearly one to over-react and she doesn’t know what she can/can’t say in case she offends Camille again.

Kyle Still Trying To Smooth Over Things With Camille
In I Would Never Say That, the 'Housewives' touch down in New York and meet Camille; who has flown a little before the others to spend some time with her Husband. They’re seeing Kelsey’s play and this is Camille’s organised trip so they both are cordial when they greet each other and Kyle practically immediately pulls Camille to the side to have a chat and squash their issues. This attempt goes smoothly…or at least for a small period of time. Kyle relays how she felt the Spring Break chat went and Camille says that she heard Kyle say: "Why would anyone be interested in seeing you in Hawaii without Kelsey there?". Kyle says that Camille only heard that since Kyle has never thought that and would therefore never say it. Kyle says that she feels she always does the reaching out in their friendship and decided not to bombard Camille after their awkward moment, which Camille appreciates and says she understands. Camille explains that she never calls since she is very shy which Kyle acknowledges but tells Camille that there is no need to be shy or "insecure". Camille immediately denies feeling any sense of insecurity but does say how she feels much of an outsider in this new group of girls. Kyle says that feels everyone in the group adores Camille and they decide to hug it out and move on. Twenty minutes later, the 'Housewives' meet in the lobby and things escalate a whole lot further. As the ladies are seated at the dinner table, Camille brings up about how Kyle put words in Camille’s mouth and said that she was "insecure". Kyle is confused since she felt that they had just squashed their issues and questions Camille’s motive of re-hashing this. Kyle questions if Camille has an identical twin sister that she didn’t know about since she felt that they had fixed it but has suddenly become quite rude. Camille admits that she did some thinking and wants to be open and honest with Kyle, she did not like the dig. Kyle says that Camille must be insecure since if someone thought that Kyle was insecure, she would shrug it off since she knows she isn’t, yet clearly Camille is paranoid about being insecure and is therefore uncomfortable with what Kyle said. Camille thinks Kyle is insincere and Kyle raises her voice and imitates Camille’s "sweet voice". Camille thinks that Kyle likes to throw digs at her and she is above petty drama with Kyle. Kyle starts saying that she thinks Camille needs to seek help immediately (and get a therapist). Camille raises how she felt interrogated during their chat about Spring Break and Kyle agrees not to ask Kyle anymore questions since she fears she’ll twist things and take what she has said out of context. Kyle continuously denies the question that Camille maintains Kyle asked about people’s interest in Camille without her Husband. Kyle says that Camille clearly thinks that about herself what she claims Kyle asked her and insists she would not ask a question to someone that she hasn’t even asked herself or thought of. Kyle asks Camille to keep her story straight; which Kim privately admits not seeing Kyle often this mad. Kyle calls Camille paranoid and delusional after Camille asks why Kyle interrogated her since they do not know each other that well. Camille reckons Kyle is desperately trying to "cover her a**" since she is losing her cool and raising her voice. She feels that she is in control and is therefore winning this fight. As Camille presses Kyle as to why she will not own up to anything, Kyle grows increasingly frustrated since she is not attacking Camille but merely defending herself. Kyle goes onto calling Camille a "f***ing liar" which shocks the table - not least Camille.
In The Art of War, the disastrous evening comes to a conclusion. Kyle says that she believes that Camille believes that Kyle asked "Would anyone in Hawaii be interested in you without Kelsey there?". However, Kyle maintains that Camille just misinterpreted her question. As Camille insists that she never lies, Kyle claims that Camille must hallucinate. Kyle says that she is scared of Camille since she twists things and can go from one emotion to another within a snap of a finger. Their conversation goes round in circles which prompts Camille to get up and leave the dinner (apologizing that Kyle feels a certain type of way about her). Kyle breaks down and asks how to prove her innocence when someone is so convinced that she said something that she did not. During the next day, ahead of Kelsey’s debut of his new Broadway show, Kyle mulls over the idea of whether (or not) to attend the show as she won’t feel welcome and things will feel awkward but doesn’t want to cut off the possibility of making amends with Camille. Kyle rings Camille, later on in the day, but the call is forwarded to voicemail. She asks Camille to call or text her to say whether it is OK for her to attend the evening (and apologizes for how things went down the night prior). Camille listens to the voicemail with her friends; with one of them labelling Kyle "pathetic" and Camille admitting that she’d be happy never to see Kyle again. Camille sends Kyle a text and says that it is fine for her to come along and enjoy the show. Ahead of the premiere show, Camille and her friend, DD, theorize that Kyle is jealous of Camille and that is why she is acting so badly (which makes Camille rule out a future friendship with Kyle). When Kyle sees Camille during the evening, she waves to her but feels a lot of tension, awkwardness and just uncomfortable. After the show, during the After Party, Kyle is nervous to meet Kelsey, who may have a few words with her in order to defend his Wife, but she is pleasantly surprised at how gracious he is to her. Once back in Beverly Hills, Camille admits to her best friend, Nick, that she felt Kyle acted like a homeless woman (who had steam coming out from her eyes and a vein popping out of her forehead). Camille says that she wanted to say a lot more to Kyle during the premiere night since she is miserable and not a nice person (after Camille felt Kyle’s apology was insincere) and wishes Kyle would just move past her jealousy of her. Elsewhere, Camille says that Mauricio (Kyle’s Husband) will not be getting anymore business from the Grammers after the way that Kyle treated Camille and laughs at how Kelsey is at the top of the pecking order when it comes to comparing Mauricio and Kelsey (a local realtor to an A-List celebrity who has won loads of awards).
