Barlow made up one of the six main cast members on the first season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and has remained a 'Housewife' ever since - having appeared in four full seasons and continuing to star in the upcoming fifth season; which premieres on September 18, 2024.
Synopsis[]
Season 1[]
Born in New York, Lisa Barlow has been living in Utah for over twenty years. As the owner of a marketing company and various tequila brands, she considers herself, "Mormon 2.0", as she is not one to adhere to all of the traditional and strict Mormon rules. Lisa attended BYU with Heather and has been best friends with Meredith for years. Married to her Husband, John, with two children, she seemingly has it all, but struggles with her quest for perfection when her unrealistic standards start impacting her friendships.

Always on the go, Lisa continues to be a busy working mom with her entrepreneurial children and loyal Husband, John, at her side. She quickly finds herself in the center of the drama when the ladies constantly question her motives.
Season 3[]
After a hot-mic moment landed her in hot water, Lisa Barlow's relationship with one of her dearest friends is changed forever. Despite many of her friendships hanging in the balance, she finds an implausible ally in the group of women. As unflattering rumors about Lisa fly around Salt Lake City, she turns her attention to focus on her husband, her children and her business.
Season 4[]
After an icy season, Lisa Barlow is making amends with Meredith, one of her oldest friends, but they still have a long way to go. Lisa is forced to evaluate her new-wave Mormon lifestyle when her oldest son, Jack, is ready to leave the nest to find his place in the Mormon church and starts exploring the traditional elements of the religion. While Lisa enjoys the finer things in life, her luxuries and expensive taste rub some of the women the wrong way, leading to a confrontation with newest 'Housewife', Monica.
Season 5[]
She enters the season with strong bonds, but her friendships quickly flip on their head. Meredith and Lisa promise to have each other’s backs, but her relationship with Whitney is permanently threatened after Whitney makes a series of hurtful remarks about Lisa’s status as the group’s villain. Lisa retaliates with claims about the authenticity of Whitney’s business practices. With Jack away on his mission, Lisa is especially hurt when Angie questions how good of a mother she has been.

Lisa tells Angie and Heather about her upcoming Besos Valentines Party in Costume or Couture?. Lisa invites everyone, including Whitney, despite being upset over the comments Whitney made toward her on a podcast that accuses Lisa of being the villain. Whitney arrives with her friend Meili, to Lisa's dismay. Whitney has bought a new home, her businesses are growing, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. However, Whitney expresses concerns regarding her friendships, especially since the fallout of Season 4 Reunion. Whitney states there has been distance between her and the ladies. Whitney did not say hi to the ladies. Lisa gives a speech before commencing the dinner, appreciating the ladies filling in the absence of Jack, and publicly brings up Whitney's podcast comments, stating they need to "work some things out".
Lisa leads a toast for the night at dinner, Whitney brings up Lisa's shade at the earlier speech regarding the podcast. Argument ensued immediately, Whitney asks Lisa on what part of the podcast that offended her. Lisa accuses Whitney of being a liar. Whitney accidentally let it slip that either Angie or Heather told her about Lisa's conversation about her this week. It is revealed that Angie was the one who visited Whitney and told her. Angie admits to Lisa, they argue. Lisa is furious as the argument goes back to Whitney's lying and throws a drink to the floor. Whitney states she has never lied before, leading to Heather, Meredith, and Lisa all yelling at Whitney at the same time listing things she has lied about. Angie says the ladies are "ganging up" on Whitney and "it's a lot". Whitney addresses Lisa that she's willing to take responsibility. Lisa states Whitney thinks she's "morally superior" because of her healing journey. Whitney thinks Lisa is "weaponizing my (her) trauma against me (her)". Whitney tells Lisa "f*ck you" and gives her the middle finger, resulting in Lisa kicking her out. Meili and Angie leave with Whitney.

At Lisa's Besos Party, as Whitney and Lisa argue Whitney accidentally let it slip that either Angie or Heather told her about Lisa's conversation about her this week. It is revealed that Angie was the one who visited Whitney and told her. Angie admits to Lisa, they argue. Lisa feels betrayed by Angie and isolated due to the mistrust. Lisa is hurt that she backed Angie last season but Angie is now loyal to Whitney. Angie leaves the party with Whitney when Lisa kicks Whitney out.

Lisa's friend Bronwyn arrives at Lisa's Besos Party in Costume or Couture?, they first met at Nordstrom, according to Lisa she complimented Bronwyn on the items she was purchasing. Bronwyn was cold towards Lisa but Bronwyn has no recollection of the incident. They reconnected through a mutual friend and are now close. Lisa and Bronwyn had lunch 5 days prior, and they connect over their kids.
