Born in Dubai to a Swedish mother and Lebanese father, Nicole grew up in Sydney, went on to achieve a Bachelor of Commerce and married her childhood sweetheart Adam.
Their daughters, Nawal 12 and Neve 10, have enjoyed a global upbringing, raised in both London and Dubai. However, it’s Sydney that’s captured Nicole’s heart, and wherever their extensive travels take them, the family always find themselves returning home to Australia.
Nicole was raised in an incredibly tight-knit family, and it’s her fond memories of childhood celebrations that eventually inspired Nicole’s career. Nicole teaches Nawal how to do laundry and sewing, Nicole is sad about Nawal leaving. Nicole teaches her daughter Nawal how to cook before she leaves for college in Friend or Faux. Nicole is excited for the new opportunities for Nawal but is sad that she is leaving soon. Nicole takes Nawal to a self defense class in This is Going to Require Some Vodka. Nawal asks Nicole if she can get an international driver's license in There's No Place Like Home, which Nicole doesn't agree with. Nicole spends a tender and emotional moment with her daughter, about her leaving for college abroad.

Victoria takes Nicole shopping in Rock the Boat, they discuss Krissy's comments at Nicole's dinner in Role Models insinuating Nicole's daughters are not ready for the real world as Nicole shields them from social media. Nicole has not spoken to Krissy and Victoria thinks they should talk it out as they are very close. Later on, Nicole drops in to talk about Krissy's comments regarding her daughter, Krissy appreciates Nicole for talking it through with her. They put it behind them.
Nicole calls Krissy in I'd Rather Be in Switzerland and Krissy is not sure about attending the trip due to her argument with Kate at her 40th birthday party in the previous episode. Nicole encourages Krissy to go and clear the air with Kate. Nicole, who's driving herself tells the Kate, Terry, and Victoria that Krissy is not coming because she's uncomfortable that Kate confronted her about the lesbian comments. As the ladies arrive at their vacation home and start picking rooms, Nicole mentions Krissy might still change her mind and join. Terry thinks the ladies should encourage Krissy to come together. They tour the rooms and Nicole takes the room with two beds in case Krissy changes her mind. Nicole and Victoria call Krissy and ask her to come. Krissy is still uncomfortable, Victoria explains to Krissy that Kate doesn't feels close enough to her for Krissy to make the jokes she did. Victoria suggests Krissy just apologize even if she doesn't mean it, Krissy refuses. Before dinner, Caroline asks Nicole if Krissy is going to come aside. Nicole reiterated Krissy feels uncomfortable, Nicole thinks Kate has brushed it off and not mad about the lesbian jokes anymore. Krissy is hurt when Terry states they are "acquaintances" and "social friends". They continue to argue, Sally has had enough and cuts in to mediate. Terry argues with Sally instead. Nicole thinks Terry is "diminishing" Krissy and her's friendship. Caroline is tired of the arguments and leaves the table.
The next morning, Krissy and Sally talk about dinner. Krissy's not sure how their relationship can be repaired. Sally, Krissy, and Caroline visit Harajuku. Krissy receives a phone call from Nicole, who has not be seen since dinner. Krissy tells the ladies Nicole is upset and wants to go home. Sally thinks that everyone should leave together since they got here together. The ladies play gacha machines. Caroline finds a Godzilla hat and a plastic katana sword. In All At Sea, Nicole attempts to gently nudge Athena X to get to know the ladies more. When prompted the names of Nicole's children, Athena X was unable to answer. Athena X remains defensive at Nicole's advice. Nicole invites Athena X to join her charity committee to raise funds for the Kew Cancer Foundation to leverage her connections. Athena X accepts, however, expresses dislike in the way Nicole went about it. Later at dinner, Nicole questions it as Athena X is wearing an ivory bracelet as Athena X is vegan.
In Persian Party, Nicole meets Athena X for a drink to discuss Nicole's invitation to her charity. Athena X confronts Nicole about the argument at the art exhibition. Nicole tries to explain to Athena X her comments toward Melissa were insulting, Athena proceeds to attack Nicole relentlessly, argument ensued. The charity invitation dissolved, Nicole stated Athena X did not attend a charity meeting prior, and Athena X accused of Nicole's using her for her connections. Nicole stated in confessional that she is more connected in Athena X, although in All At Sea, Nicole said she's inviting Athena X to the charity to leverage her connections. Nicole leaves.
Later at Matty's dinner, Nicole is still upset with Athena X but plans to remain cordial for Matty. Argument begins between Athena X and Nicole as Athena X ate caviar from the communal spoon and began lecturing the ladies on having seconds on caviar. Argument ceased as food are brought out. Matty ask Krissy and Victoria about their trip to Melbourne, Victoria does not want to talk about it at the moment. Athena X states she feels left out, Victoria thinks Athena X is playing victim in her confessional. Athena X tries to talk to Melissa, Melissa tells Athena she knows what she had called her at the art exhibition. Krissy jumps in and rehashes Athena X's behavior at the art exhibition. Matty tries to interfere but Nicole and Krissy continue their argument with Athena X. Nicole and Athena X start arguing about their ring sizes, which brings in an comedic atmosphere to the group. Lisa apologizes to Krissy and Krissy accepts. Athena X started the argument again, Krissy shoves the napkins into her mouth and Athena X becomes more offended. Melissa tries to explain to Athena X she comes off as unpleasant and mean, Athena X digs her heels in and attacks Victoria's appearance. Screaming match ensues. Athena X breaks down, talks about her traumatic childhood of constantly visiting her father in the hospital after an accident, then being abused by her father. The ladies sympathize with Athena X and Krissy shares Victoria's father's story. Athena X leaves the table and breaks down in the restroom with Lisa calming her down. Lisa thinks Krissy is stealing Athena X's spotlight by sharing Victoria's story.
In Reunion, Nicole gets a copy of Women's Weekly which showcases an article named "Nicole is out to get me", where Athena X attacks all the ladies.

In All At Sea, Nicole went after Lisa after she leaves the table at both dinners to console Lisa. Nicole stated that she knows Lisa very well and is the closest to her.
In For Art's Sake, Nicole states she talked to Lisa and apparently Lisa is doing a bit better from her marriage situation. Later at Athena X's art exhibit, Lisa is devastated that Nicole (her friend of 20 years) is choosing the side of Krissy and Matty during the argument between Athena X and herself.
In Persian Party, Lisa thinks Nicole had changed since coming back from London. Lisa tells Athena X she's disappointed in Nicole because she thinks Nicole had blocked both her and her husband David after not responding to Nicole's initial checking in messages. Nicole tells Melissa that she thinks Lisa has changed as well, she's embarrassed of her at Athena X's art exhibition, and has not heard back from Lisa or her husband after checking up on them.
Lisa and Nicole's feud is talked about in Reunion, a montage of Lisa fat shaming Nicole among other mean comments is shown. Athena X laughs as everyone's silent and explains as she's uncomfortable. Nicole presents the ladies with gifts she bought today. Caroline states she will not open the gift until she gets an apology. Kate attempts to facilitate to no avail. Terry and Krissy reignites their argument, Krissy states she and Terry have known each other for 20 years, Terry disagrees with that it's actually only been 5. Krissy is hurt when Terry states they are "acquaintances" and "social friends". They continue to argue, Sally has had enough and cuts in to mediate. Terry argues with Sally instead. Nicole thinks Terry is "diminishing" Krissy and her's friendship. Caroline is tired of the arguments and leaves the table. The next morning, Krissy and Sally talk about dinner. Krissy's not sure how their relationship can be repaired. On their last night in Tokyo, the ladies minus Nicole have drinks at a rooftop bar. Terry thinks Nicole's not present because the way she's acted and showed "her truth". Nicole visits Victoria and gives her a souvenir from Japan in There's No Place Like Home. They tell each other about their trips, especially Nicole's confrontation with Terry. Nicole feels the closer Terry is to Kate, the further she is from them. Victoria misses Terry, Nicole is hopeful of regaining her friendship with Terry. Victoria looks forward to see Kate and confronting her. Victoria wants Kate to know that friendships do not come with terms and conditions.
The ladies arguing
At the party, Nicole states she is exhausted at the end of the Tokyo trip she does not want "20 years of friendship" (with Terry) to go to waste. All of the ladies come together, Terry tells them about her fortune. Nicole gives Terry a gift for organizing the Tokyo trip, to which Terry jokingly asks "is it a watch?". It's actually a framed photo of the ladies and a handwritten note. Terry takes it as an olive branch, but wishes the handwritten note was an apology. Terry thinks she "deserves" an apology from Nicole. Terry proceeds to hot mic to a producer (see below) complaining about Nicole. The rant is interrupted by Nicole, who doesn't understand what she needs to apologize for. Terry and Nicole head back to the ladies and continue their argument. Caroline defends Terry. Victoria attempts to facilitate. Terry states Nicole has been "aggressive" with her, Caroline agrees. Terry and Nicole continue to argue with neither ladies backing down. Caroline thinks there's an underlying reason of Nicole's anger because tardiness alone does not warrant Nicole's "aggressive" behavior. Terry continues and thinks she's the victim. Krissy is brought in but not willing to rehash their fight. After a long argument, Nicole apologizes to Terry at Kate's encouragement. The ladies are happy for the argument to end, but Terry immediately restarts it with not wanting an apology thats "forced". The season ends with no resolution for Nicole and Terry.
The fish market tardiness debacle montage rolls in Reunion. The ladies wonder how the segment will work with Nicole's absence. Terry thinks it would have been nice if Nicole is present to clear the air. She also feels blindsided by Nicole in Tokyo. Krissy defends Nicole. Caroline explains that it was not about tardiness, but the "dissing of friendships". Victoria attempts to join in and is again shut down by Terry. Terry also thinks that there's a deeper issue, but silences Caroline, who beings voicing her opinions as the question was directed towards her. Krissy doesn't want to focus on the semantics anymore. Terry states she has apologized more times than Nicole. Terry questions whether if there's a problem or the ladies just have a problem with her.

Nicole is soon to be an empty nester in The Whole Eastern Suburbs Thing, with Nawal leaving on a fencing scholarship to the U.S. soon. Nicole teaches Nawal how to do laundry and sewing, Nicole is sad about Nawal leaving. Nicole teaches her daughter Nawal how to cook before she leaves for college in Friend or Faux. Nicole is excited for the new opportunities for Nawal but is sad that she is leaving soon. Nicole takes Nawal to a self defense class in This is Going to Require Some Vodka. Nawal asks Nicole if she can get an international driver's license in There's No Place Like Home, which Nicole doesn't agree with. Nicole spends a tender and emotional moment with her daughter, about her leaving for college abroad.
