Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, Racquel Chevremont is an esteemed art curator with more than twenty years of experience. She’s also a seasoned model, gracing ad campaigns for Benetton, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Fila, L’Oréal, Nivea and International Elle magazine covers. As a proud Black queer woman, Racquel is dedicated to amplifying the voices of queer folks of diaspora, namely co-founding of The Josie Club, a Black Queer Femme and Woman supported and operated social impact group. Living out a fairytale with her two kids and partner, Racquel won’t let past rumors from the New York art scene get in the way of her happily ever after.

Racquel explains she and her ex broke up in October 2020, and they "kept it quiet" because their personal and business relationships are "closely intertwined". They met in 2012, where both of them were coming out and in process of a divorce, which strengthened their friendship. Racquel has a complicated relationship with her mother regarding her sexuality. Racquel and Jenna discuss the concept of Gold Star Lesbians in front of Nancy. Jenna and Racquel meet at artist Jessica Dickinson's gallery in Coming Clean. Jenna reveals she has been given a "hall pass" for Racquel. Neither of them have spoken to Erin or Rebecca since the picnic. Jenna doesn't see "malice" in the prank. Racquel is surprised by Erin's reaction toward her at the picnic, she wants to mend their relationship as their partners get along well. Sai shows the ladies her text with Racquel, where Racquel never replied to her suggestion of taking Dramamine. Jenna arrives and followed by Racquel, Sai asks Racquel why she did not ride with them. Turns out it was a misunderstanding as Racquel was asking to drive Sai’s car to prevent car sickness. The next morning, Ubah and Sai talk about the telephone going on in the group. Sai brings up Erin delivering the message of Racquel saying Sai requiring her to sit in the backseat if they ride together.

Rebecca mentions she's 5 weeks along and tries to get to the bottom of the rumor. The ladies figure out it is all a prank when Brynn is identified as the source of the fake rumor. Erin and Rebecca state they are trying to find out who in the group is the "leaky pigeon". It is revealed that Racquel actual knew about Erin and Rebecca's plan as well, Erin had told her at their double date with their spouses.

Brynn, Sai, and Jessel are in disbelief at the pregnancy part of the prank. As Brynn, Ubah, and Sai are attempting to conceive to no avail and are seeking professional medical help to accomplish it. Racquel has lost her trust in Brynn. Erin states she did not come up with the prank, and she has dirt on everyone present. Ubah is offended and confronts Erin as she is an open book. Erin apologizes, Rebecca states the group cannot trust Brynn and Jessel. Brynn and Jessel are offended, Jessel clarifies the only person she told was her mother.

Sai had texted Rebecca, who told her that only Racquel was also in on the prank. They think Erin set Brynn up. Jenna arrives, they told her about the alleged set up, Ubah corrects that to Brynn is being "framed". They realize that Erin is the "pigeon".

Erin contradicts Brynn's statement of letting her in on the prank when they had drinks, they argue. Racquel tells Rebecca that the person she shouldn't trust is Erin, Erin and Racquel argue. Erin and Brynn argue over Brynn calling Erin out on her bluff and whether Brynn's in on the prank. Erin feels "target(ed)" by Racquel, they argue with Brynn joining in. Erin tells everyone to "shut up" and listen to her reasoning. The ladies think Erin "fumble" the prank, and Erin is focusing on semantics of "in on the prank". Erin half apologizes to Brynn that "makes her feel you (she) can't be trusted". Erin and Rebecca attempt to walk back on the leaky pigeon "test" they conducted to the ladies' dismay. They bond over being fledgeling models in New York City, especially when each model agency only had 1 diversity hire black girl.
They talk about the breakfast in Hamptons, Ubah tells Racquel Brynn condescendingly told her to behave in a way to be not edited as an "angry black woman". Racquel thinks Brynn is the one who triggers Ubah to act that way. and Brynn is "manipulative". Ubah thinks Brynn set her up, and she does not want to have a conversation with Brynn at Racquel's suggestion. Racquel thinks they should talk their issues over.

Ubah finds out about her tiny accommodation on the Puerto Rico trip in Resorting to Madness, she asks the staff directions to a hotel, which is 10-15 minutes away. Ubah tells Racquel, the host about her plan to stay in a hotel. Racquel is surprised as moments ago Ubah was telling the ladies she doesn't care about the room. Ubah talks to production and insists on a hotel. Sai volunteers for the room, Erin now is sharing a room with Rebecca. Erin hope that will smooth things out with Ubah. Racquel reveals she hasn't delivered the news of her engagement party to her mother yet in A Shot of Mess-cal, she wants to tell her mom in person. Racquel has reservations on how accepting her mother would be of Mel, Racquel's mother used to babysit her son Cory every weekend, even after moving to Puerto Rico her mother would visit frequently. But the visits stopped after Racquel's divorce and she starts dating Mel. Racquel wants her mother at her wedding but she hasn't been able to address her sexuality with her mother. Racquel thinks her mother doesn't have the "perfect image" of her to present to other people anymore and lost some love because of it. Mel encourages Racquel to call her mother.
Racquel and her fiance Mel visit a speak easy sex shop in Birds of a Feather Gossip Together, they are planning a Ballroom themed engagement party. Racquel is revealed to be the dominant one in the bedroom. Racquel's mother will not be attending the party, Racquel and Mel are disappointed. They are worried about the kids, as Racquel's mother was close to them but everything changed when she moved back to Puerto Rico. Racquel thinks she is definitely more religious and conservative. Racquel's mother cannot make it Racquel and Mels engagement party in A Strictly Ballroom Affair, but Racquel's aunt Diana and cousin Michael show up and support. Later on, Racquel and Ubah visit Sai and check in with her foot. They talk about Racquel's mother's absence at her engagement party, Sai proposes to make a trip out of it with ladies to accompany Racquel to see her mother. In their first dinner on the Puerto Rico trip in Resorting to Madness, Racquel announces her mother is coming for breakfast tomorrow, they had not seen each other in 6 years. Racquel is anxious due to her mother not accepting of her sexuality. Racquel's mother is bringing her boyfriend as well.

Jessel inquires Racquel on the origin of her last name, Chevremont in Match Point of No Return. Racquel reveals that her father left her and her mom when she was 1. At age 11, Racquel wishes to reconnect with her father, her mother was able to get a hold of her father’s number through her uncle. But when Racquel called, her father’s new wife who’s unaware of Racquel answered. Leading to her father telling Racquel to never call the number again. Racquel was then invited to a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by her father at age 12, after her uncle found out about the way Racquel’s father treated her and forced him to get to know his daughter. Racquel met her siblings, took pictures at the photo booth, which her father split up the photos evenly and bid his goodbye to her. Racquel requested a name change after with her mother, wanting no part of the man that treated his own flesh and blood with such indifference. The mother daughter went through the family history and settled on Chevremont. Brynn and Jessel console Racquel.

Mel is revealed to be a forensic psychologist in You Can Run But You Can't Ride and really loves her dogs and spend an exorbitant amount of them. Mel makes a steak for the dogs. Racquel tells the ladies about how Mel proposed to her in October 2023 while motorcycle riding with their friends in Dramamine Drama.

Racquel, Ubah, and Sai meet for dinner in A Shot of Mess-cal. Sai gifts Ubah a pigeon watching book. Sai inquires why Racquel kept her engagement in the down low. Racquel explains she and her ex broke up in October 2020, and they "kept it quiet" because their personal and business relationships are "closely intertwined". Racquel's ex-husband is an artist and a lot of his art takes on the likeness of Racquel. Their art sell because of their relationship, they were worried for the "financial consequences to the end of our (their) relationship". Racquel and Mel started dating fall 2021, people thought they were having an affair. Racquel announced their engagement publicly to protect Mel. Racquel is now in a much better place in her life.

Racquel and her fiance Mel go to an art gallery for emerging artists. They talk about Jessel's Clueless Birthday Party, Mel had a good time talking to Erin's husband Abe. Abe apparently tried to help Mel plan her and Racquel's engagement party. They talk about Mel accompanying Racquel for her art world events again after the rumors of Racquel cheating on her ex-husband with Mel took the art world by storm. Racquel states people were rude to Mel to show allegiance to her ex, which puts stress on their relationship. However, Mel is excited about the announcement of their engagement publicly. Racquel reveals she hasn't delivered the news to her mother yet, she wants to tell her mom in person. Racquel has reservations on how accepting her mother would be of Mel, Racquel's mother used to babysit her son Cory every weekend, even after moving to Puerto Rico her mother would visit frequently. But the visits stopped after Racquel's divorce and she starts dating Mel. Racquel wants her mother at her wedding but she hasn't been able to address her sexuality with her mother. Racquel thinks her mother doesn't have the "perfect image" of her to present to other people anymore and lost some love because of it. Mel encourages Racquel to call her mother.

Racquel and her fiance Mel and Erin and her husband Abe have drinks at a lesbian bar in Dodging Rumors. Mel and Abe got on after Mel realizes Abe has a lot of "lesbian sensibilities". Mel keeps accidentally calling Abe Gabe, as Gay + Abe = Gabe, which Abe happily identifies as. Abe opens up in confession about almost experimenting in college and questioning his sexuality. Abe asks Racquel about her sexuality journey. Racquel states she has always had an idea since she was little, but it did not "materialize' until she started modeling and was living in a "model mansion" full of beautiful women. However, Racquel had mostly dated men, and Erin confirms that it's because Racquel thought it was the right way to go. When Racquel was getting divorced, she watched The L Word and identified with it immensely. Now she has "never looked back". Racquel and her fiance Mel visit a speak easy sex shop in Birds of a Feather Gossip Together, they are planning a Ballroom themed engagement party. Racquel is revealed to be the dominant one in the bedroom. Racquel's mother will not be attending the party, Racquel and Mel are disappointed. They are worried about the kids, as Racquel's mother was close to them but everything changed when she moved back to Puerto Rico. Racquel thinks she is definitely more religious and conservative.
Racquel's mother cannot make it Racquel and Mels engagement party in A Strictly Ballroom Affair, but Racquel's aunt Diana and cousin Michael show up and support. Racquel and Mel don't have a date set yet, according to Chris Rock at the Chanel Met Gala Racquel is an "international heartbreaker". Racquel hands the speech to Mel as she's shy at public speaking. Mel is excited to start her new life with Racquel and her kids Elle and Corey. Racquel is overjoyed as well.
