Dixon made up one of the original six main cast members on the first season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. She continued to star as a 'Housewife' for a further seven seasons but after the conclusion of the eighth season and much rumored speculation, she confirmed that she had been fired from the show as the network, Bravo, wanted to "shake up the cast" for the show’s ninth installment.
