Shereé Whitfield is a former main and recurring cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Casting[]
Whitfield joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta in its first season; making up one of the five original housewives. She continued to star up until the conclusion of the fourth season when she exited the show, through her own choice, as she “grew tired of the fighting and cattiness“ and felt the show was no longer “a fit into” her lifestyle.
However, Shereé did return to the show during its eighth season; but only in a recurring capacity as the network only contracted her to appear in between ten to twelve episodes. She did get promoted though back to a full-time ‘Housewife’ and featured in a main capacity for the ninth and tenth season of the series prior to announcing her exit ahead of filming for the eleventh season went underway; due to failed salary negotiations between the network and Whitfield.
Whitfield did make a guest appearance during the show’s thirteenth season during one of the filmed events of the season. Then, after a three season and year break, it was confirmed that the fourteenth season would feature the return of Whitfield in a main capacity (per her one condition that if she was to film any scenes for the show, she has to be contracted as a full-time cast member). She continued to star in the fifteenth season as a "Peach Holder" but exited the show, for the third time, ahead of its sixteenth season amid a cast shakeup.
