Teresa Giudice is a current main cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and appeared as an "All Star" during the first season of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip. Despite only being heard through phone calls, she also received a spin-off series, titled: Teresa Checks In.
Casting[]
Giudice joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey during its first season; making up one of the five original main cast members. She has continued to star as a full-time 'Housewife' ever since - appearing now in fourteen seasons.
Between the sixth and seventh seasons of the main show, there was a year’s break from filming due to Teresa serving her one year prison sentence for fraud. During this year’s break from filming, there was a three-part spin-off series commissioned and while it was named, Teresa Checks In, Teresa was only heard (via the phone) and not seen as the cameras followed her then-husband, Joe Giudice, her four daughters, her brother and her sister-in-law and fellow co-star, Melissa Gorga; as they navigated lives without Teresa.
In addition to this, Teresa has appeared as an "All Star" during the first season of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip; also alongside Melissa Gorga. Filmed in Turks and Caicos with five other 'Housewives' from other American installments of The Real Housewives franchise, the two sister-in-laws represented New Jersey.
