The Real Housewives of Amsterdam (abbreviated RHOAMS) is a Dutch reality television series which has been broadcast on Videoland, since November 23, 2022. Developed as the first Dutch installment of The Real Housewives franchise, it is currently airing its third series and focuses on the personal and professional lives of several women living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The success of the show has resulted in a spin-off; Tamara & Maria's Therapy Trip.

Pilot[]
A pilot was recorded in the spring of 2022 to see what the network thought of it. Jamie Faber, Dionne Schuf and Magali Gorré werd part of the show. After the pilot, they were replaced by others.
Season 1-Present[]
The first season aired from November 22, 2022 to January 12, 2023. The original cast consisted of: Sheila Bergeik, Hella Huizinga, Susanna Klibansky, Djamila Celina Melcherts, Kimmylien Nguyen, Cherry-Ann Person and Maria Tailor. Magali Gorré of The Real Housewives of Cheshire appeared as a 'friend'. Bergeik announced her departure from the series in January 2023 after the reunion.
In June 2023, it was confirmed that the second season would premiere in October 2023, with Tamara Elbaz joining the series as a 'Housewife'. Elbaz was not the first choice, because two other housewives already were cast but they left de show early during the recordings. After the conclusion of the second season, Klibansky announced her departure from the series in February 2024, followed by Huizinga who announced her departure in May 2024.
In August 2024, it was confirmed that the third season would premiere in November 2024, with Angela van den Brink joining the series as a 'Housewife' after appearing as a guest during the first two seasons. Also Deborah Luijdendijk joined the series as a 'Housewife'. During filming of the third season, Melcherts left the show.
