Production[]
Production for the season began at the start of October 2022, and concluded the following year at the end of January 2023.
The first trailer for the season was released on March 30, 2023.
In the original airing of "Rap Sheets and Old Beefs", a flashback to Season 4 is preceded by the title card featuring the cast at the time. NeNe Leakes is absent from the image, being edited out due to legal issues between her and the Bravo network. Backlash from viewers resulted in the episode being removed from streaming services and re-edited. The revised episode was re-uploaded on the following Tuesday with the removal of the title card altogether.
Cast[]
The entire main cast from the fourteenth season, Whitfield, Burruss, Moore, Sidora, Hampton and Richards-Ross, returned as 'Housewives' for the fifteenth season. She is joined by new recurring cast member, Courtney Rhodes; who is introduced through her connection with Whitfield.
Many former 'Housewives' make Cameos or 'Guest Appearances' throughout the season. Original 'Housewives', DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu (who also made appearances last season) appear, fellow original 'Housewife', Kim Zolciak, makes a Guest Appearance after last appearing in the tenth season; in a recurring capacity. Former long-term 'Housewife'; who last appeared as a 'Housewife' in the show’s thirteenth season, Cynthia Bailey, also makes an appearance. Finally, former 'Friend of the Housewives' star, LaToya Ali, makes a cameo.
In addition to former 'Housewives‘, Akilah Coleman (wife of Tevin Coleman) is also introduced as a 'Guest' through her connection with Moore.

Trivia[]
Production[]
- This is the second fifteenth season to air of an American-produced installment in The Real Housewives franchise.
- This comes after the fifteenth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County; which aired over 2020 and 2021.
- The Real Housewives of Cheshire is the only international The Real Housewives installment to have also produced a fifteenth series.
- This season has the joint-third lowest episode count that a season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has ever had, tying with the third season; at eighteen episodes, and behind the sixteen-episode second season and eight-episode first season.
- A record was also set this season as the lowest-average viewership that a season of the show had received: averaging 870,000 viewers per episode.
- Following a very similar premiere pattern to the previous season, this is the second season of the show to debut in May and conclude in September.
Casting[]
- Everyone from the cast of the fourteenth season returned to the show and returned to the show in their same capacities.
- This is the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta not to add any new 'Housewives', this is after seasons: four, six, nine, ten and twelve.
- However, the latter three listed seasons all re-introduced a main cast member. Shereé Whitfield, NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore, all returned respectively after a four-season gap, a two-season gap and a one-season gap.
- Additionally, this is the third time that the show has kept the entire main cast from one season to the next. This also happened from the third to the fourth season and the fifth to the sixth season (if you exclude the early exit of original 'Housewife', Kim Zolciak; who originally appeared as a main cast member yet left six episodes in during the fifth season).
- This is the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta not to add any new 'Housewives', this is after seasons: four, six, nine, ten and twelve.
- This is the fourteenth season to star Kandi Burruss, the tenth season to star Kenya Moore, the eighth season to star Shereé Whitfield, the third season to star Drew Sidora and the second season to star both, Marlo Hampton and Sanya Richards-Ross.
- In terms of consecutive seasons, this is Burruss' fourteenth, Moore’s fourth, Sidora’s third, and Whitfield’s, Hampton’s, and Richards-Ross' second.
- This is the final season to star: Whitfield, Burruss, Moore, Hampton and Richards-Ross. However, this is the third out of fourth season to star Sidora.
- In terms of consecutive seasons, this is Burruss' fourteenth, Moore’s fourth, Sidora’s third, and Whitfield’s, Hampton’s, and Richards-Ross' second.
- With this season marking Burruss' fourteenth as a 'Housewife', it marked a first in The Real Housewives franchise where a 'Housewife' has appeared for fourteen (consecutive) seasons in a main capacity. She has since been joined by The Real Housewives of Orange County star, Tamra Judge, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards.
- It is the second season to include Monyetta Shaw as a 'Friend of the Housewives' and the first for Courtney Rhodes. This is both their final seasons.
- Former 'Housewife' on The Real Housewives of Potomac (who was appearing as a current star during the filming and premiere of this season), Candiace Dillard Bassett, appears during the third episode of this season. She appears on-camera with Drew Sidora.
- This is the fifth season for Lisa Wu to make a 'Guest Appearance', the second season for DeShawn Snow and Kim Zolciak, the first for both Cynthia Bailey and LaToya Ali.
- Bailey appears during the thirteenth episode of the season.
Opening Titles[]
- This season marks the biggest change in the opening credits that the show has seen.
- While the first to fourth seasons and the fifth to thirteenth seasons shared a very similar music track (with slight modifications here-and-there), this season makes a massive change to its sound track (with a similar background sound but different beats).
- The intro also gets a modern look where the 'Housewives' are all in a mansion and dressed in white. This is a first.
- This is the third time that the order of the opening credits on the show has remained the same. This has happened between the third and fourth seasons and then the fifth and sixth seasons (specifically, the intro post the exit of Zolciack) since there were no main cast member changes. While the taglines between the fourteenth and this season change, the fifth and sixth seasons' cast also changed their taglines while the third and fourth season’s taglines were identical.
- The intro card for the season had swapped round all of the 'Housewives' from the previous season with the exception of Sanya Richards-Ross; who remained on the far-right.
Storylines[]
- To Be Completed.
Cast Trips[]
- The 'Housewives' head to Algarve, Portugal.
Reunion[]
- A fifteenth Reunion Special was aired this season for The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
- All main cast members and recurring cast members were present at the Special.
- This was the first time since the third season that a season only featured a two-part Reunion Special.
