Production
Cameras began rolling in August 2019 and were placed down in December 2019; although picked up in January 2020, for the scenes filmed where some of the cast went to see Erika Jayne play "Roxy Hart" in Chicago: The Musical, during her premiere night. The show’s virtual 'Reunion' was filmed on July 16, 2020.
Cast

On June 4, 2019, a day ahead of filming the ninth season’s 'Reunion', Lisa Vanderpump announced that she would not be attending the season’s 'Reunion' and would not be returning to the show for a tenth season; after falling out with all of her co-stars after they believed she had leaked a story about former friend, Dorit Kemsley, to the press. After a difficult year, personally and professionally, for Vanderpump amid the loss of her Brother and creation of a two businesses, she found the recent negative emotional experience with the show "too much" and decided that the best thing to do would be to walk away from the show altogether. Vanderpump has not re-appeared on the show since. Her departure made Kyle Richards the only remaining original cast member to still star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

On August 29, 2019, the returns of: Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Denise Richards (all pictured on the left), were all announced. In addition to this, it was announced that Garcelle Beauvais (pictured on the top right) would be joining the show as a 'Housewife' (making history as the first African-American cast member on the show). Sutton Stracke’s (pictured on the bottom right) addition as a 'Friend of the Housewives'; starring in a recurring capacity, was also announced. Stracke was originally cast in a main role but was later demoted after her Ex-Husband refused to let their children film with her which is presumed as the reason for her limited filming initially and thus, the network’s deliberation surrounding what role they should deem Stracke, since her filming options were more limited without the ability to film her as a Mother.

On August 29, 2019, also on the same day that the Season 10 cast had been announced, Camille Grammer (pictured on the right) confirmed that she had not been asked back to the show after spending two seasons in a recurring capacity as a 'Friend of the Housewives'. She said that she was glad not to be returning since last season’s 'Reunion' was such an "awful" experience; since she felt bullied by her former co-stars. She stated that it was "Kyle’s show" and alleged that since she made casting decisions, she was the one who chose not to invite Camille back. Grammer did make a few appearances this season which saw her pick-up where she left off with some of the ladies and address their underlying issues with each other. She has since also appeared in the show’s thirteenth and fourteenth seasons.

Former 'Housewives', Brandi Glanville (pictured on the top left) and Kim Richards (pictured on the top right) also make sporadic appearances this season and are considered 'Guests'. While Richards appears in the season’s ninth episode, Until We Leave Again, they both appear in the eleventh, twelfth, fifteenth and sixteenth episodes, Kiss and Tell All, Roman Rumors, Sex, Lies and Text Messages, and Denise and Desist. Glanville’s revelation about 'Housewife', Denise Richards becomes a major storyline for the friendship group later on in the season.
Former original main cast member, Adrienne Maloof (pictured on the middle left), former main cast member, Eileen Davidson (pictured on the bottom right), and former recurring cast member, Faye Resnick (pictured on the bottom left), make 'Cameo' appearances this season. Davidson and Maloof appear in the tenth episode, Black Ties and White Lies. Resnick does the same but also appears in the season finale, Denise and Desist.
