Nigerian-American, Dr. Wendy Osefo, the newest 'Housewife', is a triple threat as a professor, political analyst, and entrepreneur. She's been married for nine years and is the mother of three children, including a newborn Daughter. Never one to be underestimated, she is full of sass and ready to make her mark in Potomac.

Season 6[]

Dr. Wendy Osefo has a new attitude and is making some massive changes to her life to go along with it as she ventures into new territories in work, fashion, and even her friendships. She is finally living her truth and is ready to show the ladies the other side of Dr. Wendy.

Season 7[]

Dr. Wendy Osefo continues to teach, serve as a political analyst on national cable news and run her candle business. She now wants to open a Nigerian-themed lounge. Eddie thinks she has too much going on and needs to focus on her health and her family. Can she juggle it all and maintain her sanity?

Season 8[]

In the new season, Wendy is taking on another endeavor and this time it will combine her interests in politics, mental health and good gossip. The group dynamic presents a challenge as she’s not in a good place with Gizelle and Robyn, and the arrival of new 'Housewife', Nneka, rubs her the wrong way.

Wendy has resigned from her position as professor from Johns Hopkins University in A Crash Course in Deflection, having been on her mind for awhile. Wendy cleared out her office at work and is moving her stuff into the home office. Wendy writes her resignation letter and sends it to the Dean via E-mail. Eddie celebrates with Wendy, Wendy feels "empowered" to resign on her own accord, however she is afraid to break the news to her mother, who is proud of her being a professor and vehemently against the idea of resignation when Wendy brought it up in season 5.

Wendy meets with her sister Ivy and mother Susan for drinks in Love in the Fast Lane. Wendy and Ivy take a shot before Susan arrives, Wendy is nervous on breaking the news of her resigning as professor to Susan. Ivy is uncomfortable and scared of Wendy revealing the situation to Susan. Susan reacted in the way Wendy and Ivy expected, asking Wendy "are you crazy?". Ivy encourages Wendy to tell Susan her plans of spending more time with her children and focusing on other ventures. Wendy reminds Susan that she's still a doctor and can head back to professorship anytime. Susan eventually gives Wendy her blessing and just wants her daughters to be happy.

Wendy's mother Susan cooks yam porridge and fish for Wendy and her family in Momma Knows Best. Wendy said Eddie's father called her to wish her a happy mother's day. Eddie and Wendy's mothers were friends, but they grew apart. However Eddie and Wendy fell in love, which created deeper rifts between the mothers. Wendy is taking the phone call from Eddie's father as an olive branch and plans on inviting Eddie's family to her 40th birthday party, which Susan approves. Susan mentions the time when Eddie's mom physically curved her when she tried to hug her at Kruz's baptism. Wendy hopes everyone in the family can put their differences aside and move forward.

The Osefos along with Wendy's mother Susan and brother Jordan goes out for dinner to celebrate Kamrynn graduating Pre-K and Karter graduating elementary school in Hard Launch, Soft Landing. They talk about Wendy's white themed 40th birthday party, where they have invited Eddie's side of the family. Wendy wanted all of Eddie's family to attend but they only trust their kids with Eddie's parents so only either Eddie's parents can attend or his siblings can. Susan reiterates Eddie's family not showing up for Wendy and Eddie's wedding and think they should just get a babysitter. Eddie's siblings will attend, Wendy's not worried about if the parents will come but whether they will "come in peace". Eddie's parents have not officially met their kids nor attended Eddie's law school graduation. Eddie has a positive attitude toward the family's future. They toast to the children and Wendy reminds them that they do not have access to their trust fund without a masters degree.

Eddie and Wendy check in with Christine, their party planner for Wendy's 40th Birthday Party before the event in Healing, Thriving and Surviving. Wendy is preoccupied with seeing Eddie's estranged siblings. Wendy makes her second grand entrance, on land this time and makes speech. Wendy feels positive on mending both sides of the family. Even though Eddie's siblings showed up to Wendy's 40th Birthday Party in Healing, Thriving and Surviving and Mediation Nation to support her, Wendy is still worried due to the time (13 years) they have not interact with each other. Wendy officially introduces her kids to their aunts and uncles. The family is excited to open the next chapter with everyone together.

Wendy's husband Eddie tells her the great news of her being invited by the White House to film an episode of The Dr. Wendy Show on location interviewing the first black woman White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in The Truth Will Set You Off. Wendy wants to "share this moment" with Karen because she invited her to get the key to Surrey County and "queens recognize queens". White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre gives Wendy a tour of the White House in All Bark, No Bite. Her family and Karen arrive to support. Everyone is very proud of her.

In Lake Norman, the ladies crowd in the living room in pajamas and await the clock to strike 12 for Wendy's 40th birthday in Blast from Everyone's Past. Wendy praises the ladies for staying up for her and appreciates them in her birthday speech. The ladies cheer and party when Wendy's birthday arrives. Wendy is content and satisfied as she looks back on her life and accomplishments. The ladies have breakfast and Wendy has skydiving on her 40th birthday bucket list. Wendy opens up at dinner on her personal and professional journey since joining the show in Shady Waters. Wendy appreciates the ladies and vice versa.

Eddie and Wendy check in with Christine, their party planner for Wendy's 40th Birthday Party before the event in Healing, Thriving and Surviving. Wendy is preoccupied with seeing Eddie's estranged siblings. The MC announces Wendy's grand entrance as she arrives on a boat dressed up as a Mercedes-Benz. Wendy makes her second grand entrance, on land this time and makes speech. Wendy feels positive on mending both sides of the family. Wendy receives a citation from the Governor of Maryland at her Birthday Party in Mediation Nation, which the ladies are confused by as citations are associated with negative connotations. In this case, a citation means a positive acknowledgement from a formal authority for doing good.

The season begins with a dramatic reenactment of Karen's DUI on March 19, 2024. The ladies react to the situation in A Crash Course in Deflection, Wendy expresses sympathy. Wendy states she's not sure what Karen's event is about but she will be supporting Karen regarding Karen and Gizelle's conflicting events in Double Trouble. Stacey, Wendy, Mia, Jassi, and Keiarna head to Karen's event, they discuss the scheduling conflict. Stacey thinks Karen had put everyone in an "uncomfortable situation". The ladies Facetime Ashley, reporting they can arrive by 8:30. Ashley informs the ladies the event ends at 9 and tells them to come before 8. The ladies insists on their commitment to attend. Upon finding out the 24 minutes it will take to go from Karen's event to Gizelle's via Fahmi, the driver, Wendy and Keiarna volunteer to stay with Karen and split from the group as their focus for the night is on Karen. Ashley relays her phone call with the ladies to Gizelle, Gizelle does not want the ladies to come at 8, stating that the ladies are "f*cking rude".

The ladies arrive at Karen's event at 7:09, Karen states the ladies like her better as they had shown up for her. Karen's event is documented through cellphone cameras. Keiarna does not want to attend another GnA event and Wendy wants to witness the award being passed out. Mia, Stacey, and Jassi races back out at 7:39 for Gizelle's event. Ashley and Gizelle give speech appreciating the guests for showing up for a good cause. Mia, Stacey, and Jassi are elated to have made it on time at 8, however, Gizelle met their warm salutations with calling the security to have the ladies escorted out.

On the way to their vacation rental in Lake Norman in Bunking Beds and Butting Heads, Jacqueline tells Gizelle and Wendy that Karen is not happy with her for telling the ladies Karen called her while tipsy, Gizelle is confused on why Karen has a problem with it as Karen does that "all the time". Wendy shuts down the conversation as Karen is not in the car to "defend herself". Wendy inquires Gizelle on where she currently stands with Karen due to Karen's manufactured conflicting events. Gizelle says she needs to talk to Karen. Wendy asks if they can talk before the coming day to not interfere with her birthday celebration, Gizelle makes no guarantees. Gizelle, Wendy, and Keiarna talk about Karen in Old Rumors, Die Hard, Wendy is worried because she's "going through a lot". The ladies think Karen looks thinner, and not due to Ozempic. Keiarna thinks it is Ozempic, however she clarifies Karen's on it because of pre-diabetes and not for weight loss. Wendy notes Karen sleeping early on the Panama trip, Keiarna explains fatigue can be a side effect of weight loss. Gizelle and Wendy realize that Karen is taking Ozempics when they thought Karen was stressed out due to her court case. They discuss how to bring it up to Karen without offending her, Gizelle thinks if it's from a genuine place it should not matter. Gizelle and Wendy express concern over Karen's weight loss at Ashley's drag debut, Karen explains that her family has diabetes and she's taking semaglutide, which is the active ingredient in Ozempic. Stacey defends Karen agreeing that it's "preventative care".

Karen and Mia argue about Mia's son Jeremiah's paternity test in The Truth Will Set You Off. Mia states she found out only a week ago. Stacey thinks Karen "ambushed" Mia. The ladies head back inside after Mia brings up Karen's drunk driving and alleged affairs. Stacey consoles Mia while Mia goes off. Karen thinks Mia has something on Stacey for her to take Mia's side. Wendy defends Karen and questions which "side" Stacey is choosing. Karen states she has not "seen it with my (her) own eyes", shuts Stacey down, calls her a "backstabber" and she's "only getting to know" her. Stacey is surprised to see the true color of Karen. Karen states what Stacey is wearing is "raggedy" and accuses Stacey of running "the same stop sign three times". Karen then "demotes" Stacey to an "associate" from a friend.

Stacey and Karen continue their argument with the group. Ashley tells Gizelle Stacey had came over and told her what she told Mia, that prior to meeting the group, Karen took her out and warned her against Wendy. Gizelle is not surprised as she herself has cautioned Wendy about Karen but Wendy did not want to hear it as they were feuding at the time. They confront Karen, who refutes the accusation. But Gizelle is familiar with Karen's tactic and thinks it's "backfiring". Karen confesses to going to dinner with Stacey but immediately backtracks.

Wendy arrives with her husband Eddie, Stacey welcomes them. Gizelle tells Stacey Karen had refuted her allegation regarding Wendy in front of Wendy. Stacey tells the ladies Karen told her Mia is not "Potomac" and Wendy is "self-absorbed". Karen adamantly refutes. Wendy "knows" Karen had talked bad about her. Karen tries to stop Wendy from leaving to no avail. Later on, all the ladies gather to discuss Stacey's accusation. Stacey reveals Karen took her to Tally Ho, all of a sudden Karen remember she did take Stacey out. Mia has lost trust with Karen, Wendy is saddened and hurt by the revelation. Stacey is tired of covering up for Karen.

The ladies arrive in New York City for the reunion in Reunion Part 1, they wonder whether Karen will be in attendance. Keiarna and Wendy call Karen, who does not pick up. Wendy thinks she and Keiarna had "soldiered" for Karen and they are betrayed. The reunion commences with Andy Cohen addressing the elephant in the room, Karen is not attending the reunion. The ladies have not talked to Karen since Christmas. Andy announces Karen has checked herself into a "private recovery center". Gizelle thinks Karen should have gone to rehab a long time ago. Wendy find it strategic to enter rehab right before the sentencing. Stacey defends Karen, everyone except her agrees with Wendy. Karen has a recorded video message for the ladies, where Karen deflects again by blaming the accident on taking antidepressants and drinking. Karen thanks Gizelle, Keiarna, Jassi, Candiace, and Andy Cohen. Gizelle is emotional and cries. Karen does not thank Wendy, who has been defending her the entire season. Wendy realizes Karen is "not my (her) friend". Gizelle defends Karen, stating Wendy had been knew that. A montage of Wendy supporting Karen rolls. Gizelle questions Wendy's revelation as she had been trying to tell Wendy Karen's disdain towards her since season 5. Wendy states Karen was the only person who stood up for her and her mother in the previous season.

Wendy regrets inviting Karen to the White House with her, she believes what Stacey said about Wendy. Keiarna thinks it's "not kind" for Stacey to only tell Wendy when her and Karen's friendship sours. Stacey clarifies it's because Karen did not reciprocate her standing by her. Wendy reveals Karen had actually warned her about Stacey, because she's "smart" and "educated". Gizelle throws a jabs by questioning if she's actually in possession of those qualities. Gizelle and Keiarna defend Karen. Andy reminds Gizelle herself pointed out Karen likes to steer the newbie in a certain direction. Karen did not take Keiarna to Tally Ho, and reiterates Karen was the only person that took care of her after the Deborah debacle. Wendy tells Keiarna Karen likes the "mother goose relationship", and Karen will turn on her when Keiarna's wings harden and is ready to be without her.

Karen's DUI is discussed in Reunion Part 3, everyone has seen Karen with alcohol, Ashley thinks Karen is using that to cope. Everyone also agrees Karen is "lashing out" to "distract". Wendy questions Karen's intention as it would've been better if she had gone to court before filming started. According to Gizelle Karen had continuously pushed back her case due to "bad paperwork". The ladies can't comprehend why Karen took the case to trial, especially knowing the bodycam footage exists. Stacey and Jacqueline question if it was Karen's first time seeing the footage herself in court, Wendy and Gizelle refute as Karen's legal team had attempted to "suppress" the footage. Gizelle states Karen had refused plead deals twice, her and Keiarna had heard "6 months house arrest" and "60 days jail". Gizelle states Karen thought she really could win the case.

Ashley states that a journalist texted her the day after Karen's accident asking her if there was a person in the car that was actually driving. Karen had also referenced it in the body cam footage. Andy questions Karen's statement of being with "a group of girlfriends" before her accident, as no girlfriends had came forward. Gizelle knows Karen was at a bar/restaurant that's 4 minutes away from Karen's. Wendy wants to say something but stops herself. Karen had left ladies a message shot on December 27, 2024, the day before she checked into rehab. In a conversation between Karen and Ray, Karen states she had never seen the bodycam footage, Ray continues to defend Karen. Karen states she was blacked out the whole time and blames it on antidepressants. Gizelle thinks they need to cut the tape and Ashley states it's "performative" and they had "cover all the bases". Ashley tells the story of chatting with a gentleman on the train to New York where he used to work at Legal Seafood at the Montgomery Mall, and Karen had gone there daydrinking everyday. Gizelle and Ashley point out Karen's drinking has been going on way before her parents passed. Wendy had encountered a similar story. Stacey gives Karen a benefit of doubt regarding her not viewing the body cam footage. A shockwave reverberates through the ladies when Gizelle mentions Karen cannot wear wigs in prison. They are worried about Karen surviving in prison.

Gizelle extended an invitation to Wendy for her Hattitude Party despite their conflict last season in A Crash Course in Deflection, due to the unfortunate passing of her father, inspiring her to live life to the fullest and not dwell on conflicts. Wendy arrives, and states in her confessional that she does not consider Gizelle's invitation as an olive branch and a proper discussion is required for the mending of their relationship. Gizelle acknowledges her strained relationship with Wendy and invites her to lunch to talk things through in Double Trouble. Wendy accepts the invitation. The next day, Gizelle and Wendy begin their lunch with an awkward start. Wendy states in her confessional she's willing to begin their relationship anew as she approaches 40. Gizelle thinks Wendy is condescending, Wendy thinks she has a right to respond when Gizelle brought up rumors of Eddie having affairs. Gizelle clarifies she's doesn't like being spoken to in a "demeaning" way in general. Wendy mentions Gizelle icing her out on several occasions by ignoring her, including at her own event. Gizelle acknowledges and promises to address the issue in the future instead of not speaking to Wendy. Both ladies agree to move on, they talk about the Hattitude Party. Wendy states Mia is hurt by Gizelle and Karen's accusations. Gizelle says Karen has met Inc and reiterates that he's short, they have a harmonious laugh.

But Gizelle points out she was the one who told Ashley about the rumor, and it had started from a blog.

At Gizelle's Hattitude Party Gizelle in A Crash Course in Deflection inquires Mia about Inc, Karen asks if they will still see Gordon around. Mia responds yes and that Gordon is leaning on both Mia and Inc, and mentions her and Inc once did Gordon's laundry, folded them, and put them away for him. Jacqueline thinks Inc is good for Mia, comparing to Gordon and Mia as a "business partnership", to the ladies's surprise. Stacey asks Mia how long they were married (11 years). Karen tells Mia it is more than business as they have children together, and brings up Gordon declaring doubt to the world regarding whether he is Jeremiah's biological father. It bothers Karen that Mia's children became a hot topic, Mia is defensive as Gordon is the reason why the public is talking about their children and not her. Karen explains it as concern, with Gizelle backing her stating if Mia "protected her children at all costs" the overlapping timeline that casts doubt would not have occurred. Mia gets emotional while defending herself, argument ensued. Wendy defends Mia. Mia breaks down and storms off to the restroom with Jacqueline and Jassi following her.

On the way to their vacation rental in Lake Norman in Bunking Beds and Butting Heads, Wendy says she overheard Jassi asking Mia where her "sidekick" is on the plane, referring to Jacqueline. Instead of denying being a sidekick, Jacqueline responded with that Jassi is "no competition". Wendy is overjoyed at seeing the special room Mia reserved for the birthday girl, and glad their relationship is moving in the right direction. Keiarna mentions Ashley walking out at dinner in Rum-ble in the Jungle. Stacey defends Mia and encourages her to tell the remaining ladies what happened with her kids this morning. Wendy thinks Mia should be with the kids instead of with Gordon or her former nanny. Jacqueline defends Mia blindly at dinner, the ladies think Mia doesn't get to act erratically due to what's going on in her personal life. Mia calls the ladies "miserable b*tches", which sends all the ladies into a tailspin.

Wendy checks in with Mia about her kids on the catamaran in Red, White and Smooch, they are doing well in Virginia. Wendy's family's doing well as well. Wendy wonders why Mia is flying to Atlanta instead of Potomac to see her kids over breakfast. Mia explains that the kids are having the time of their lives and she feels secure with their whereabouts. The ladies don't agree with Mia's parenting but nonetheless it's Mia's kids not theirs. Mia further explains in her confession that her eldest son Joshua is in Atlanta.

Karen and Mia argue about Mia's son Jeremiah's paternity test in The Truth Will Set You Off. Mia states she found out only a week ago. Stacey thinks Karen "ambushed" Mia. The ladies head back inside after Mia brings up Karen's drunk driving and alleged affairs. Stacey consoles Mia while Mia goes off. Karen thinks Mia has something on Stacey for her to take Mia's side. Wendy defends Karen and questions which "side" Stacey is choosing. Wendy explains to Mia that she should have put more care into the ladies who actually showed up to support her at her birthday party in Miami in Reunion Part 1. Mia starts crying, Wendy sees through her antics of doing so when "backed up against the wall". Mia states she's going through a lot and continues the crocodile tears, the ladies don't buy it. Mia's storyline this season is discussed in Reunion Part 2. Wendy kinda defends Inc while Gizelle and Ashley think Inc "wants camera time", Gizelle, Ashley, and Stacey do not believe that Mia and Inc broke up, thinking they are only pretending to be because of the public backlash. Gizelle accuses Mia of living in Atlanta with Inc and only flting in for filming and confessionals. Mia refutes, stating she flies back and forth but has a condo in the DMV. Her kids are in "private home school" and they do go back and forth with her at times.

Wendy speaks what the ladies think: Mia has an "orchestrated" storyline with Inc this season, but it "backfired" and Mia is doing damage control by posting pictures of her and Gordon. The divorce is a "lie", Mia, Gordon, and Inc are "all in on it", for the benefit of the "show". Wendy questions "what would be left" if Mia's no longer on the show. Mia states the kids did hear about the divorce for the first time on camera, but states the original intention was counseling first. Mia also states Inc was the one who requested the paternity test for Jeremiah, and Jeremiah is not aware as the kids are not allowed on social media. Gizelle and Ashley point out that Jeremiah is going to find out eventually. The ladies are confused by the convoluted paternity test storyline along with the viewers. Mia then reveals that Jeremiah was conceived through IVF but states she possibly could have been pregnant as well. The ladies educate Mia that it is not possible because a blood pregnancy test is required before starting IVF. Stacey thinks Mia should just put the storyline to rest.

Mia states Gordon and Inc got along for a year until their confrontation. The ladies accuse Mia of setting Gordon up for the benefit of the storyline. Mia defends herself with wanting both Gordon and Inc to co-parent, as Gordon and her first husband are good friends. Jacqueline defends Mia but also states she doesn't think Gordon and Inc should mix especially in front of the kids. The ladies think Mia lies a lot as Mia continues to blame Gordon and his mental illness. The ladies don't believe Mia when she states Gordon wants to be at the reunion and apologize to Mia and the ladies. Gizelle thinks Mia is only on an "apology tour" because social media tore her to "smithereens". Apparently Mia thinks she's the Beyonce and the other ladies are all Michelle's. In an Unseen Footage of Ashley's drag debut, Mia got into Gizelle face when they fought about Mia bringing up Gizelle's daughters. Mia walks off when Gizelle states she's a "horrible mother" for publicly using her kids for a manufactured storyline.

Wendy regrets inviting Karen to the White House with her in Reunion Part 1, she believes what Stacey said about Wendy. Keiarna thinks it's "not kind" for Stacey to only tell Wendy when her and Karen's friendship sours. Stacey clarifies it's because Karen did not reciprocate her standing by her. Wendy relates as Eddie takes care of the finance while she takes care of the kids. But now after hearing the other ladies' experiences she will work on familiarizing herself with their finances. Stacey has learned from her experience and appreciates the ladies for advising her. Stacey has multiple appointments of remediation while Ashley and Michael attempted to finish it in one go. Michael wants a confidentiality agreement of Ashley never speaking negatively about him in a public forum. Michael will have custody of the kids 10 days out of the month. They did not reach an agreement after 9 hours of remediation, so now either the lawyers can come to an agreement or Ashley will file for a public complaint. Ashley doesn't wish to be contentious with Michael but thinks the separation should be fair.

Stacey states TJ is not attending because she doesn't want him there in Reunion Part 3. Wendy's husband Eddie and Keiarna's boyfriend Greg Facetime TJ backstage and TJ tells them Stacey paid him to play her love interest. TJ also states Stacey owes him money for the gig. Stacey doesn't believe TJ would say that. Andy confirms with the production, who has the footage of TJ saying so, but that camera is shooting Mia at the moment. All the ladies immediately believe in TJ except Jacqueline who defends Stacey. Stacey wants to see the footage, but does not want to call TJ herself, because she does not want to "entertain" a lie.

Everyone chanting "Bring Eddie out"

The ladies and Andy chant "bring Eddie out" to summon the truth. Eddie becomes the first husband to get first chair at reunions. Eddie confirms TJ's allegation, and states TJ's "tired of the narrative" from the show. Eddie states TJ only said Stacey owes him money but did not specify if it's for his "best friend" gig. Stacey thinks TJ is lashing out because she broke up with him. Eddie thinks TJ is mad because of how he was portrayed on the show. Stacey "invite(s) him to come and say it" to her face, but again does not want to entertain the idea of calling him herself. Everyone think it's a gotcha because Stacey doesn't want to call TJ, Eddie exits.

Wendy's mother Susan cooks yam porridge and fish for Wendy and her family in Momma Knows Best. Wendy said Eddie's father called her to wish her a happy mother's day. Eddie and Wendy's mothers were friends, but they grew apart. However Eddie and Wendy fell in love, which created deeper rifts between the mothers. Wendy is taking the phone call from Eddie's father as an olive branch and plans on inviting Eddie's family to her 40th birthday party, which Susan approves. Susan mentions the time when Eddie's mom physically curved her when she tried to hug her at Kruz's baptism. Wendy hopes everyone in the family can put their differences aside and move forward.

Wendy and Ivy take a shot before Susan arrives, Wendy is nervous on breaking the news of her resigning as professor to Susan. Ivy is uncomfortable and scared of Wendy revealing the situation to Susan. Susan reacted in the way Wendy and Ivy expected, asking Wendy "are you crazy?". Ivy encourages Wendy to tell Susan her plans of spending more time with her children and focusing on other ventures. Wendy reminds Susan that she's still a doctor and can head back to professorship anytime. Susan eventually gives Wendy her blessing and just wants her daughters to be happy.
